300 kilograms is equal to 661.39 pounds. 384 kilograms is equal to 846.58 pounds. Can anyone here explain this so-called information coming from what I had assumed to be a reliable source?

It is not reliable imo. Bengal tigers are the ones that should be considered the largest modern tigers and the website actually says they can live up to 50 years ! 💀💀💀

Why do so many people think siberian tigers get so big? They aren't bears.

I am sure there are even bigger tigers. Dr jhala has one gorged specimen weighing 285 kg. wagdoh's corpse weighed 270 kg and he must have been even heavier when he was in his prime.

I am sure there are even bigger tigers. Dr jhala has one gorged specimen weighing 285 kg. wagdoh's corpse weighed 270 kg and he must have been even heavier when he was in his prime. The might be some bigger tigers, some bigger lions, and some bigger bears than those confirmed weights. But to say that a typical tiger weighs 661.39 pounds and some bigger ones weigh up to 846.58 pounds is absurd and wrong. Until a wild Amur tiger is weighed above the weight of 599.66 pounds, we should simply consider that as being the normal max. Typically, both the Amur and the Bengal tigers weigh within the 400-pound range. Those individuals within the 500-pound range are considered huge. *Note: There are others talking about giant tigers as well. My point is, until these "giant tigers" are actually weighed by a biologist, I will rank them right up there with the Yeti and Sasquatch. #2,644. wildfact.com/forum/topic-on-the-edge-of-extinction-a-the-tiger-panthera-tigris?pid=180515#pid180515

Here at the Domain, we accept only confirmed weights; animals actual weighed by reliable sources. We are not looking at bears shouting "this one probably weighs 1600 pounds and that one probably weighs 1800 pounds. I'm sure there are a few 2,000 pound (one-ton) bears out there."
No. We here at the Domain go only by weights confirmed by biologists and other reliable sources. (much unlike the tiger fans).

According to GuateGojira - wildfact.com/forum/topic-amur-tigers?pid=194183#pid194183 -(#9831)- The average weight of the Amur tiger fluctuates from c.220 kg to c.170 kg (375 lbs to 485 lbs) which averages out to: 430 pounds. *Note; a 430-pound cat is a very big cat.

Is a 9+ year old male Kodiak bear really this heavy on average? Would a 9+ year old average male polar bear be heavier than that?

Depends on which polar bear population, but normally, yes.

Take into consideration that an 8 year old male is most likely not fully-grown yet, so the average should be , in reality, higher than 835 lbs.

Where in the image does it say that the average was 1077 lbs? Was the 835 lbs measurements taken when they weren't fat?

The 835 lbs was in their leanest state.

It says that they weighed 960-1346 pounds, but I can't find the number 1077 anywhere on that image.

I would say though, that the chart on the left is more reliable, 5 specimens of 8-9 year olds, 835 lbs. The only thing though, like i said before, the 8 year olds might not be fully-grown, so the average should be a bit higher than 835 lbs.
The calculations done on the right side of the chart were done with 4 specimens in Fall, and 3 in Spring, so i dont think we should add all that up.
All in all, i would say, the average, in their linest state, should be more than 900 lbs.
