Welcome to the Domain, akibeh19. If you left a message on Reply #120, it's not visible to me. As for the "animalfightclub" (LOL) that's nothing more than a stinking sewer. No facts to be found there.

Aren't black bears and lionesses equal in weight on average though ?

Yes ig a lioness could beat a female black bear thanks to its massive weight advantage but is there any proof the black bear in the account was female ?

No, the bear was male. It was called Bruno

No, the bear was male. It was called Bruno in this case, looks like we need for info in order to debunk the account as they can still use it to argue that cats can beat equally sized bears

Still we don't know how much large the bear was. The weight only depends on the subspecies.

una fotoI can tell you the book is fictional. Here's what a part of the book said. "Thought Lucius". you can't tell what someone is thinking in real life. Clearly a fictional book. Google made an error when it called it "non-fiction".

Also the one where the lion "outslugs" the bear and kills it instantly...was that a black bear or a brown bear? Any confirmation? The account also said that the fight was "skirmish" which is a small fight. Obviously a very small bear. Brown bears are extremely durable and tough, so no cat would kill a large bear this easily. Also "bruin" word is just an archaic term of the word "bear". There are also articles calling polar bears, black bears and sun bears "bruins".
