/\ I guess you believe Kong is stronger pound to pound. It simply doesn't look right if Kong is as tall as Godzilla ( a radio-active dinosaur mutated by nuclear radiation ). Especially considering the size of Kong's arms. Regardless of the fact that both are in the "monster category", you just don't make your gorilla as equal in size to a dinosaur - ( unwritten rule ). The fact that Kong defeated the much larger T-rex in the original was ( IMO ) what made him King of Skull Island. In the same way; if Kong defeats Godzilla, the victory will be sweeter if Godzilla is bigger than Kong.

I get your point. Anyway, we have a whole one and a half months before the movie comes about.

I get your point. Anyway, we have a whole one and a half months before the movie comes about. I voted for Kong, in all honesty, because I figure he will win according to the "good guy vs bad guy" issue. But, if this were to be an actual fight, my dollar would be on Godzilla. I believe that it is possible to find an actual winner by feeding information into a computer and then seeking the answer. At least, this works on the movies.

Godzilla vs Kong - They fought in 1962 and now they meet again in 2021. My gripe: These two monsters should never ever clash. Why? I am a firm believer in sticking with the originals ( in most cases ). 1933 King Kong ( the giant gorilla stands 18 feet tall ). 1956 Godzilla ( the giant radioactive dinosaur stands - stated on the movie, "He must be 400 feet tall." This makes Godzilla 20-times taller than Kong. *I just found Kong's height told in the book, "Monsters and Demons - A Complete Compendium of Mythological Beasts" by Charlotte Montague. This book ( belonging to my daughter's boyfriend ) goes into great detain about the classic monster movies and novels.

What King Kong 1933 classic and King Kong 2005 big budget had in common - King Kong walks on all fours as a real gorilla. King Kong 1976 and Kong of Skull Island 2017 - walks upright as a man - WRONG.

Son of Kong - 1933. A good movie. Good storyline. From IMDb - The showman who brought Kong to New York returns to Skull Island and finds Kong's son, a spunky 12-footer with a winning personality and his dad's awesome strength. I love it when Hilda ( Helen Mack ) asks Carl Denham ( Robert Armstrong ), "Did you ever catch a monkey?" My complaint about this movie - too much monkey business; meaning way too much humor. They should have taken this movie seriously. But, because of all the monkey-shines, their next project - Mighty Joe Young - a great movie, did poorly at the box office. Too bad. Mighty Joe was lined-up for a Tarzan movie. *Edit and add: The Mighty Joe vs Cave Bear fight should have been done more like the Kong vs T-rex battle - without the funny business.

If not mistaken Godzilla is asexual right? No. That was the American movie: Godzilla - 1998 with Matthew Broderick. An attempt to completely recreate Godzilla. Stupid idea. That mutated lizard was NOT Godzilla. Anytime that Hollywood tries to recreate a monster or character that has already been ingrained into the public's mind in a particular image, they are very rarely successful.

qwaszx! Unlike previous famous monster face-offs, there will be a clear winner. One will fall. However, I can assure you, neither will die. Too much ka-$$$-ching involved.
