Concerning this educational video... 360 kilograms is equal to 793.66 pounds. *False information. The heaviest wild tiger confirmed weight is slightly under 600 pounds. Quote, "A tiger could take down a fully grown bear." *True. A full-grown male Amur tiger can ambush and kill a full-grown moon bear or a full-grown female brown bear.

In almost all cases or sentences, it is said that "Tiger kills a bear", "Tiger kills a Brown bear", "Tiger can kill a mature bear" with no precise words being used indicating the age or gender of the bear. Tiger kills bear: of which species type? which age?; tiger kills brown bear: of which sex? of which age?; tiger can kill a mature bear: which one Male or Females? Such missing words lead to problem of wrong speculations even if we all and the honest sense of every person knows that tigers only kill cubs, subadults and females rarely while avoiding males.
This thread is in reality filling those missed words and exposing fabricated things and thoughts quite commonly shown by fanboys. Here are some commonly used fabricated and distorted cases oftenly shown by fanboys discussed in more detail:
1#. 3 year old bear called "Misha" or "Kosolapy" killed by adult male tiger Odyr in a fight:

2#. Alreadily debuncked account of Chalmid male bear killed by tiger:

3#. The ambiguous and speculated story of Jankowski:

/\ See in pic no.4 of the account. It says the "tiger's mouth was full of black bear's hair". So was that a large black bear fighting a tiger?

No, most likely the "black" term was reffered to the hairs. The bear is said to be a brown bear in the description.

"The bear's powerful jaws closed in its throat. The cat roared hoarsely and beat about in death pains. That was the end"... Looks like the bear had won this one 😎 So much for their tiger being an unstoppable killing machine that kills everything.

Subadult tiger taking down a juvenile sloth bear again. The tiger outweighs the bear.

*How many adult male tigers (4+ years old) have been killed by bears in the wild? *Answer (according to Pablo) 2. Bears do not hunt tigers. Tigers hunt bears. Yet, the score (at this point) is Bears 2, Tigers 0.

Pavel Fomenko, a game biologist and one of Russia's leading tiger experts, stated this in his new book: "Kiss of the Tiger." "A tiger can fight with a brown and white-breasted bear and will most likely defeat them, and for dessert this versatile predator will not disdain a mouse or a frog." wwf.ru/species/amurskiy-tigr/kniga-potseluy-tigritsy Likely means something that is possible but not proven (mere assumption). Here's where did he based claim on... Fomenko: Well, you know, judging by the fact that I often find bear claws in tiger excrement, there's the answer for you (he laughs), who is stronger. vestiprim.ru/news/ptrnews/120691-tigr-i-medved-kto-silnee-tigrinyj-likbez-vypusk-4.html#videoHe based his opinion on tiger scats, which is unreliable. His opinion doesn't carry much weight.

Quote: ""A tiger can fight with a brown and white-breasted bear and will most likely defeat them." Since a tiger only hunts adolescent and (much less often) adult female brown bears; yes, the tiger usually wins that "fight" after he ambushes the bear. As for the "white-breasted bear", moon bears are generally much smaller than the tiger that ambushes him. A tiger never ambushes a bear his own size or bigger. *I'd bet my bank account that Pavel Fomenko, a game biologist, has learned to admire the tiger, but has never witnessed a tiger/bear fight.

Sayed Jabal sai Clear proof from renowned biologists and undisputed authorities shows that the tiger dominates the brown bear in head-on battles, and is the usual winner in a fight to the death. Here's by far one of the best accounts regarding Amur tigers vs Brown bears, from John Vaillant: John Vaillant actually went to the Russian far east and interviewed many top authorities regarding tigers and bears, from renowned biologists (Dale Miquelle, J.Goodrich included) as well as other Russian biologists, hunters, natives, naturalists, locals, forest rangers etc..and they all told him that the tiger completely dominates the Brown bear and regularly attacks, kills and eats them. He was even told that tigers kill bears solely on principle, and will pick fights with Brown bears and tear them apart. "This is a book about Russians and their tigers, and much of the information in it comes from Russian sources, including many interviews." books.google.co.uk/books?id=WGv ... ok&f=false this Fiction book category and guide books.google.co.uk/books?id=WGv

Under normal circumstances, the Amur tiger has no enemies. Virtually no animal can handle it. He is unparalleled in strength and endurance. "He is capable of defeating even an adult bear."
No animal can handle it lol Elephant, rhino, etc My father's part says his ability to endure. A bear has the best ability to endure You give a tiger imaginary characteristics
