A lot of things are poorly translated. However, in Reply #39, we know that when we read, "a large brown bear crushed a tiger", they mean that a big male brown bear literally crushed a tiger; breaking ribs and other bones.

Exactly, i love when people interpret accounts good. Because its not just about reading the accounts, but knowing how to "interpret" them good. Tiger crushing a bear means the tiger simply killed the bear. A bear crushing a tiger is just like you said, breaking ribs and other bones, basically destroying the stupid little kitty cat.
