Any questions our member might have concerning any animal. In some cases this might be a matter of seeking facts. In other cases perhaps merely seeking other opinions. Enjoy ~

OK, a well-known fact: Lions are far more combative than tigers.
Question: Could this possibly be a sign that tigers are more intelligent than lions?

The Ussuri brown bear is the most 'sun bear' like of all the brown bear subspecies on theundertaker45 list. Am I right brobear?

The Ussuri brown bear is the most 'sun bear' like of all the brown bear subspecies on theundertaker45 list. Am I right brobear ? Perhaps in your eyes the Ussuri brown bear appears to be "sun bear-like", but no. This is the Black grizzly and probably the ancestor of all American grizzlies. I have noticed also that these black grizzlies normally appear to have a less developed shoulder hump than their American sisters and brothers. Perhaps they do less digging for their foods. Perhaps it is the black color and the lack of a "stand-out" shoulder hump which gives you this impression.

However, it it not nearly as powerful as the other brown bears pound to pound. Even the Eurasian brown bear seems to have a more develop hump than the Ussuri brown bear.

Guys: i basically know nothing about dogs, so what do you think of this video here? Is it real? Can an Argentine Dogo kill a puma?

King Kodiak This little video describes the situation of Cougar/Dogo interactions in Argentina perfectly; the disgusting perverts organizing these events should get struck by lightning. Although this video involves footage of animal cruelty, I'll post it to raise awareness and alert all people reading this topic that cougar baiting is a disgusting procedure: Regarding your question, in my eyes a proper working Dogo could put up a very good fight against a cougar its own size or smaller, however, an adult male North American/South American cougar is a whole different league.

Ok yeah, i agree, thats bad. But the video i posted above took place in the wild, not staged, and it looks like the Dogo killed that puma to protect 2 girls. Maybe it was one of those trained dogs?

Maybe it was one of those trained dogs? *Note that you never see the puma and the girls on film at the same time. You did not actually see the dog kill the puma. My thoughts - this film is an advertisement for the Dogo breed. Edit and add: Reply #7 is disgusting. All such blood-sports should be stopped. A cougar fully-armed with claws is a whole nuther matter.

They could. But the odds aren't in their favor (at all...almost at all)

Getting struck by lighting is too good too quick for them. They need slow death......
