A Foxe Basin Polar Bear will kill a Siberian Tiger easily and it's not even a close match. Foxe Basin Polar Bears average 500 - 600KG, while Siberian Tigers average 180 - 206KG, the Polar Bear is almost 3x bigger. Not only that, but a Foxe Basin Polar Bear should be like 10 feet tall, whole a Siberian Tiger should be 8 feet tall. 2 feet difference. Yeah this isn't a close fight, it's a slaughter. Bear destroys. OldGreenGrolarTo be honest i don't see anyway a Tiger would challenge a bear with that kind of height advantage.

It is uncommon for a bear to be 10 feet tall, these large specimens represent a very low percentage of all bears. Mass is better when it comes to compare animals. And a male polar bear is around 2 times heavier than a siberian tiger, sometimes more. So, the polar bear has the advantage of course.

Normal Polar Bears are probably 9.4 feet.

Please use international units. Scientific work uses international units. No, a normal male polar bear is around 2.6 meters or 2.7 meters tall. It is quite difficult to have reliable data concerning the height of bears. Shoulder height and mass are easier to determine, the mass being the best comparator. And large male polar bears average around 500kg, not 600kg. The heaviest polar bear weighted by biologists was 657kg i think but we know that some specimens were larger, there is no doubt about that.

I saw sources saying Polar Bears average 9+ feet a long time ago, so 9.4 feet ain't a stretch. Also, Foxe Basin Polar Bears are 500 - 600KG with a mean weight of 570KG.

/\ Awesome, that is a precise and beautiful comparison. Who made that? If you posses, i will like see a similar one for largest animals in Asia, North america, Europe, Africa and Austraila. Love this alot though. Visiting South america is my dream.

Special request to members who have the creativity and the computer skills. Size comparison: Ussuri black bear vs mountain gorilla.

Cat fanatics are stupid lol - they believe that a tiger can kill a polar bear because it can kill a gaur, so size doesn't matter. But they do not understand that fighting another predator and killing a hooved prey isn't the same thing. Polar bears also kill animals who tougher than gaurs (e.g. walrus). Bunch of coprophagists hahaha

Bunch of coprophagists hahaha Indeed LMAO. Head to head a male Polar Bear wins very easily, NOT even a fair fight. Even the smallest Polar Bear population is 380KG while Bengal Tigers are 235KG ( i have a tablen), so the bear is 145KG heavier. A bear with a 50 - 90KG weight advantage is enough to beat a Tiger ( for example we can do 285KG bear VS 235KG Tiger ), hell even 30KG advantage is enough, but it's a lot closer. A male Foxe Basin Polar Bear which averages 500 - 600KG ( with the medium being 550 - 590KG ) will beat a Bengal or Siberian Tiger 9 - 9.5 / 10. I wouldn't say 10/10, i prefer being fair and a Tiger could kill such beast if it's super lucky, but it's under the RAREST circumstances. Still, as I said the Tiger would need to be SUPER lucky to win. Overall, the bear wins easily, and it's not close. The weight gap is too big, so in order to make this fair we need 2 Tigers to make it close.

LMAOO, bro's huge af. The sow isn't even at the shoulder. Polar bears have the highest sexual demorphism of all animals other than the elephant seal.
