Speaking of Mastiffs out of the 10 Mastiff breeds the Fila Brasileiro is considered the most powerful. Height - males 26-30" Females 24-28" Weight - males 140-180 pounds Females 130-160 pounds. From Wiki: The Fila Brasileiro (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈfilɐ ˌbraziˈlejɾu]), or Brazilian Mastiff, is a large working breed of dog developed in Brazil.[1] It is known for its superb tracking ability, aggressiveness and an unforgiving, impetuous temperament. Rather than attacking its prey, the Fila traps it and waits for the hunter to arrive. Owing to these qualities, the Fila Brasileiro is used as a guard dog, as a cattle dog for livestock and as a hunting dog for tracking and controlling large game. When slavery was legal in Brazil in the 18th century, the Fila Brasileiro was used to return fugitive slaves unharmed to their masters.

Reply #453 - Polar bear vs Kodiak Bear. Very nice presentation however, the Polar Bear looks considerably longer and yet the length given for each is almost identical. IMO they might have used different photos for a more realistic look. Still nicely put together though. I think Undertaker's comparisons are very close to being realistic though.

There do not seems to be any difference in height and length between both the female polar bears and Kodiak bears.

theundertaker45 : Reply #787, excellent bro. Is that scaled to their supposed max shoulder heights? Or are those just 2 random specimens?

Both models provided by "Prehistoric Fauna". The two biggest bears that have ever lived right next to each other; on your right we have the giant Arctotherium specimen (based on a 620mm humerus) and on your left we have the "Behemoth of Kansas River" (based on a 646mm humerus). They are looking down at your average Joe... On all fours...
