I have often read that it is believed that Ursus arctos originated in China. Have any fossil remains been found of this first grizzly? Any details?

I have often read that it is believed that Ursus arctos originated in China. Have any fossil remains been found of this first grizzly? Any details? Not much info, but from the "Brown bear evolution" thread we have this:
"The oldest fossils positively identified as from this species occur in China from about 0.5 million years ago."
