Sydney is back in lockdown for two weeks. Sorry to hear that. This new Delta plus variant has people spooked. I am no longer required to wear a mask at work because of state laws relaxing restrictions and the fact that I am fully vaccinated however, some people still insist on wearing them even if vaccinated. To each his own I guess.

Just in case any of you run out of something humorous to read, and are seeking a good laugh, just journey over to any "wild animal face-off" blog site and start reading the ( ironically ) most popular animal face-off topic - Lion vs Tiger.

Every Scandinavian friend of mine is married to someone from a different country😲. Scandinavia is a subregion in Northern Europe, with strong historical, cultural, and linguistic ties. In English usage, Scandinavia can refer to Denmark, Norway and Sweden, sometimes more narrowly to the Scandinavian Peninsula, or more broadly to include the Åland Islands, the Faroe Islands, Finland and Iceland. The broader definition is similar to what are locally called the Nordic countries, which also include the remote Norwegian islands of Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and Greenland, a constituent country within the Kingdom of Denmark. My own heritage is England and Scandinavia.

I'm what you'd call a mutt. Norwegian and Danish on my Grandfathers side, Scotch, Irish, English and French on my Grandmothers side.
But I guess half of me is Scandinavian.

Is this one of those: www.tapatalk.com/groups/animalvsanimal/tiger-kills-lions-t2178.htmlStarted by Mr. Misinformation himself. Kind of ironic how he explains in the first post that Lion fans are spreading misinformation. That's like the "Pot calling the Kettle black". I noticed that not many if any Lion guys were jumping in on this thread....

Either side of this "spam-war" can show basically the same category of "facts". The post you just revealed is a typical tactic; a full-page spread of "trash" - quantity over-riding quality. I will not allow that here. I will tell him, "post one event at a time where each can be answered individually". Carnivora at this moment has 630 pages on this topic.

Lockdown has been extended till 16 of July 😡. I saw in the news that China has cut off all trade with Australia. Mostly due to the fact that Australia called for a probe into the Origins of the virus. Of course they don't want a probe, they created it and then tried to cover it up. www.bbc.com/news/business-57004797

The broader definition is similar to what are locally called the Nordic countries, which also include the remote Norwegian islands of Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and Greenland, a constituent country within the Kingdom of Denmark. My own heritage is England and Scandinavia. Yeah, Scandinavia is basically Norway and Sweden. Nordic countries then Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Faroe Islands and Greenland and some other places as autonomous parts of Denmark can be counted in in some way. Åland is part of Finland. Nordic countries have had a lot of co-operation a long time and many common things what comes to how society works. Languages of Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland are very close to each others, even though Danish people talk like they would have hot potato in their mouths, I wonder if they understand each others always when talking. Then we Finnish have our own language, which no-one else can understand at all, unless using some serious time to learn it. Ability to speak English, Swedish or Russian languages doesn´t help a bit and of course no other language either.

@shadow . I have also heard that most Finnish have blue eyes. Is that true? It´s true, it´s very common here. I´ve seen articles saying, that it´s most common thing here in the whole world and based on what I see every day, it can be true. When north Lapland is counted out, almost 90% of people here have blue/gray/green eyes. Swedish, Norwegians and Estonians are in very close range what comes to that.
