Slowly adjusting to life back at work. It is fun but it takes the toll on your body after not working for so long.

Weird how we are really active for several days, after a long lull in activity.... then, lightening strikes and we lose power... back in a lull again. Really strange.

The one word that I would use to describe this day is "sacrifice" by the greatest generation of men in the US history.

The one word that I would use to describe this day is "sacrifice" by the greatest generation of men in the US history. Perhaps they were called "the greatest generation" because, not only the brave military, but also the entire country pulled together. Women were doing men's jobs at home. Women and children pitched in to collect materials needed to help our military ( rubber, copper tubing, iron, etc ). When those soldiers came home, the celebrations were huge - and resulted in the "baby boom"

Absolutely. The entire country pulled together in a war effort. The sacrifice that was laid down to win world war 2 would be unacceptable by present day society.

Reply #1335 - Not surprising what the young ladies have to say. The dude should be asking them, "do you like a guy who wears a man-bun in his hair?"

To be perfectly clear; no member of the Domain of the Bears will ever be banned because his opinion differs from that of the majority. However, the Domain does have rules clearly posted. They are not ( IMO ) difficult to comprehend. If you are corresponding respectfully to fellow members, then you are not likely breaking any major rules.
