No, I'm actually quite the cave-man when it comes to computers. I grew up in the country ( North Carolina ), prior-service marine, prior-serve army, and retired after 44 years of low-wage jobs ( including military ). I have two daughters and seven grand-kids. Education: I finished the 9th grade. Earned a G.E.D. when I was 30. You'll have to get those 7 grand kids to help you with your computer skills.... LOL

Brobear...what does your family think about that you have spent many hours researching and debating about bears? Do they like bears? The reason i am asking is because i have a 16 year old daughter that is basically sick of me talking about bears, everytime she sees me watching bear pics or debating i get reprimanded. Does this happen to you?

Well, I suppose that they figure that there are worse things to be into than having "Bears on the Brain." I have a few friends that when they see me they might say "Lions and tigers and bears - oh my."

Have you tried messaging him?
I'd be glad to look into making some cosmetic changes to the site or at least see if it's possible, if he wants to grant me administrator access.
I remember your old site and as a administrator you did have some creative control on how you wanted your forum to look. I would think the same would be true here as well.

I truly hate it when a news story or some "animal facts" do not provide specific details which leaves the reader ( or listener ) with false notions. Prime example: In the "Tiger Predation" topic at Wildfact, there is a news article of a tiger killing an adult rhinoceros. There has been seven adult rhino's killed over the past two years by tigers. The author neglects one valuable tidbit of information - the rhino's killed were all female. Granted, killing a rhinoceros cow is awesome, but a bull rhinoceros is totally another monster to slay. How often, all over the internet, legitimate information sites say that in Russia, tigers prey upon brown bears. They leave it there giving school children the false idea that tigers are killing 1000-pound grizzly boars. It seems to me that any professional would know how to produce all of the necessary information.

Common Bro...they cant be serious at Wildfact, no one can kill an adult male rhino, much less a 400 lb tiger. Whats the limit? Can a tiger kill a dinosaur also? Oh yeah i did not know, in india they have tigers with laser beams out of their eyes.

They are not saying that tigers are killing adult male rhino's. It's that the news articles do not specify. In other words, "Piss-Poor" reporting.
