At this point spinosaurus has caused so much controversy that it is just gonna get firebombed again.

T-rex would consider that dino-goose as fast food. Carcharodontosaurus saharicus probably did...(imo).

T-rex would consider that dino-goose as fast food. Carcharodontosaurus saharicus probably did...(imo). Yes it did. Spinosaurus is weaker than most predators around its ( dimensional ) size, unless it was bigger, if not way bigger in bodymass. So, unless we find an ACTUAL 60 foot long, 18 foot tall, and 22 ton Spino, which is very unlikely, if not the most unlikely, it'll stay low tier.

brobear OldGreenGrolar MontezumaAnyway, yea in the end of the day T. Rex will remain heavier, bulkier, and stronger, even if Spinosaurus looks larger.

A comparison between T. Rex and Spinosaurus. brobear OldGreenGrolar Montezuma Spinosaurus may seem larger, but T. Rex is heavier, bulkier, and much stronger. That Spinosaurus is out-dated.

That Spinosaurus is out-dated. Yes, but dw, i'll remake the size chart with a more accurate Spinosaurus reocnstruction.

T-rex and Deinosuchus were roughly equal in HBL but the crocodilian was probably some heavier. Imo; Deinosuchus probably caught a T-rex at the water's edge while drinking, from ambush, and pulled him under. In the water - Deinosuchus / on land, the Tyrant King. dinopedia.fandom.com/wiki/Deinosuchus

Well, all we can do is speculate, read the data, and look at pictures. ( IMO ) T-rex would be the victor. While the size difference is minor, the T-rex is built broader ( more of a tank ) and his skull is heavier. The carcharodontosaurids had blade-like teeth for slicing flesh, but T-rex could bite right through bones. The T-rex was simply a more sophisticated beast. While the arms of the carcharodontosaurids were longer than those of the tyrannosaur, neither were they really long ( not bear-like ). However - we have no way of saying for sure who is right or wrong here. I will add, from reply #8: "And unlike “T-Rex’s bite” was astonishing; it didn’t need to do slashing attacks like the Carcharodontosauridae did with sauropods, waiting for them to bleed out." *I never did believe this theory. Those big carnosaurs probably preyed upon juvenile sauropods. Gigantosaurus vs Tyrannosaurus rex

This is a top-notch size comparison. If T-rex lived in Africa today, I have no doubts that he would be a hunter of elephants, rhino, and hippo. When T-rex would win.

It is highly unlikely that T-rex ever hunted the biggest dinosaur living in his kingdom. Alamosaurus! Largest specimens of Tyrannosaurus and Alamosaurus (FMNH PR 2081 and SMP-VP 1850). Tyrannosaurus is 12.3 meters TL and is 8.4 tonnes, while Alamosaurus is 34 meters TL and is 90 tonnes. Both skeletals by Scott Hartman. When T-rex would lose.

Spinosaurus is pretty fodder for a dinosaur, NGL. It gets slammed by most large Theropods around its size.
