piterhunt.ru/Library/rukovskiy/po_sledam_lesnih_zverey/9.htm ACCOUNT REPORTED BY BIOLOGIST N.N. RUKOVSKY OF A VERY LARGE BROWN BEAR THAT KILLED AND ATE A 4 YEAR OLD MALE TIGER IN A FIERCE AND PROLONGED BATTLE: *Note: a four year old tiger is a full-grown tiger; a young adult.
"Мне известен случай, когда в год неурожая кедровых орехов, желудей и ягод в Сихотэ-Алинском заповеднике на реке Туныиа бурый медведь убил и съел тигра. По следам и оставшемуся черепу тигра я определил, что медведь был очень крупный, а тигр молодой, примерно четырехлетний. По вытоптанному хищниками снегу, сломанным стволам пихт (каждая из которых почти в руку толщиной), крови, клочкам шерсти можно было заключить, что борьба была жестокой и продолжительной."
"I know of a case when a brown bear killed and ate a tiger in the Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve on the Tunia River in a year of poor harvest of pine nuts, acorns and berries. From the tracks and the remaining skull of the tiger, I determined that the bear was very large, and the tiger was young, about four years old. From the snow trampled by predators, the broken trunks of fir (each of which is almost as thick as an arm), blood, and scraps of wool, one could conclude that the struggle was fierce and prolonged."

primamedia.ru/news/118750/ Two Amur tigers (females) died in Primorye in a fight with a bear March 2, 2010 VLADIVOSTOK, March 02, PrimaMedia. A probable meeting with a brown bear led to the death of two female Amur tigers this winter on the territory of the Sikhote-Alin State Nature Biosphere Reserve in the Primorsky Territory. According to the official website of Rosprirodnadzor, on January 21, 2010, the remains of a radio-tagged tigress Vera and her radio collar were found in the upper reaches of the Khanov cluster (Kunaleika river basin). According to experts, a possible reason for the incident could have been an attack on a brown bear tigress. The tigress Vera was first captured and tagged with a radio collar in 2002. After the collar was finished, in 2007, the tigress was recaptured and fitted with a new collar. At the time of her death, the tigress was eight years old. Presumably she had two cubs, 17-18 months old. On February 17, 2010, the remains of the radio-tagged tigress Ani and her radio collar were found in the upper reaches of the Pravaya Poludennaya cluster (the Columbus river basin). On the collar, the teeth marks of a large predator were clearly visible. The specialists of the department also consider a collision with a brown bear to be the probable cause of the death of the tigress. The tigress Anya was caught for radio tagging at the mouth of the Solontsovy cluster (the Zabolochennaya river basin) in November 2009 at the age of 1.8 years. At the time of capture, she was walking with her brother and mother. Perhaps the young tigress found herself in the area of the Columbus River basin in search of her own territory. Judging by the data taken from the GPS-collar, the death of the predator occurred on December 10-11, 2009. The Sikhote-Alin State Biosphere Natural Reserve was organized on February 10, 1935 and is a unique natural treasury of Russia. The original purpose of its creation was the preservation and restoration of the sable, which was almost exterminated at that time. Currently, the reserve is the most convenient place for observing the Amur tiger. The Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve was also the first natural park in the Far East, included by UNESCO in the world system of biosphere reserves.

All living things value life and try to save it. There are many ways to protect yourself from predators - hide, run away, using camouflage coloring, hide, frighten a predator with a rapid increase in your body, a pungent smell, and finally, protect yourself by force. There is a known case of a fight between a bear and a tiger in the Far East. The forces of these animals are approximately equal, but the bear became the winner - only the head was found from the tiger. *Quote: The forces of these animals are approximately equal, but the bear became the winner - *the bear was either an adult brown she-bear or a full-grown male Ussuri black bear.

CREDITED TO OLDGREENGROLAR daydaynews.cc/en/housepet/1740018.html BROWN BEAR ALMOST KILLS "BORIS", AN ADULT MALE TIGER, WITH A SLAP OF ITS PAW IN A BATTLE: "It is said that a brown bear came to attack Svetraya just after giving birth. Boria stepped forward to fight the brown bear. During the battle, the brown bear slapped it with its bear paw. Boris was almost killed by the brown bear. When Svetraya rushed up, the two tigers drove the brown bear away together." *Note: here again, a brown she-bear.

ibb.co/qR7kZDdibb.co/KX7Pb8SThis is from Bromlei’s publication I think. Anyway, animalkingdom.su/books/item/f00/s00/z0000074/st031.shtmlСреди зверей взрослый тигр врагов не имеет. Известны лишь очень редкие случаи, когда он погибал от ран, нанесенных ему кабаном-секачом, буйволом или бурым медведем, оборонявшимися от его нападения. The adult tiger has no enemies among animals. Only very rare cases are known when he died from wounds inflicted by a slaughtered boar, a buffalo, or a brown bear defending against his attack. So adult male tigers, have been killed by bears.

My question answered Quote: Aside from the historical 12 tigers killed and eaten by brown bears before 1973, another 7 Amur tigers were killed by bears in the Primorski Krai and Khabarovski Krai in the period from 1985 to 1996. So this would add to a total of 19 Amur tigers killed by brown bears in the wild.
Question to anyone who might be keeping score: Among those 19 Amur tigers known to have been killed by brown bears, how many were adult male tigers? ______________________________________________________________ King Kodiak: 2. (Sysoev 1950, Rukovsky). There could be 1 more, but not clear yet.
There are actually 21 Amur tigers killed by brown bears on record:
The historical 12 before 1973 7 from 1985 to 1996 2 tigresses in 2000 (the latest ones)

It’s actually more than 21.
As for as male tigers go:
There are 10 accounts of male tigers being defeated or fended off by bears (including black), and a Biologist stating adult males have died to brownies.

The tiger-fanboy-wonder says (quote): "No, only tigers are known to kill and devour brown bears, not vice versa. Krechmar is clearly wrong about that. When's the last time a brown bear killed any tiger? There's not a single reliable account of a brown bear killing even a little tiger cub in the last 30 years." Fact: There are actually 21 Amur tigers killed by brown bears on record.

There's no way these male tigers were sick and unhealthy. It is said that “these tigers died to bears defending against their attacks”. I'm 100% sure you can't attack someone if you aren't at full health. Hahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂

Let's analyze the account of Rosie killing Prince. ML said it was a Sumatran tiger but the article said it was a Bengal tiger. Here's Howard Ward describing the tiger as "large". Fraud exposed.

Impressive. *Note; only two adult male tigers killed by bears confirmed. But, that's double the tiger's 0 adult male brown bear kills. Score: bears 2/tigers 0.

Lets add this account too: domainofthebears.proboards.com/post/62597/threadIt said 4 year old "young" male tiger. But i don't think 4 year old tiger is a young specimen rather its a young adult or may be an adult with a size of an adult as tigers can attain full size after being 2 years old. "The tiger is not a 100% r-type species: it is a large animal and takes two years to grow to adult size."
"In the wild, tigers reach sexual maturity at three to six years of age for males and around three years for females."
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_cycle_of_the_tiger#:~:text=In%20the%20wild%2C%20tigers%20reach
"For males it is 3-4 years of age".

I basically never saw this account before. When was it found and posted? Who did? In which year? It turns out a confirmed account of an adult male tiger killed by brown bear! Awesome! I can't believe how i never considered that! The link however does not work; and if more details provided, the better.
