In a straight-up toe-to-toe battle it's no contest I've already stated that.
would you agree that UFC fighters are superior to pro wrestlers in real life fighting skills?

Yes, definitely. I already said that several times. Conor Mcgregor would destroy more than 95% of the WWE roster. But some guys are just too big and strong.

You guys remember Ken Shamrock?
Here is one of the best matches I've seen with regards to stamina. A long long match which just goes to prove the kind of shape these guys have to be in. I was a wrestler in high school and while it may only last 5-10 minutes it's constant and you can't let up unlike pro wrestling where the wrestlers have a chance to catch their breath. adjust their trunks walk around a bit then engage.. yada yada yada. Unless you've been in amateur wresting you have no idea the kind of shape you need to be in. There's no way to explain it to someone who's never done it.

These two men-built-like-bears will fight soon. The winner will then fight some big guy called "King Kodiak."

Reply #185 - My 2 brothers, myself, and a half-dozen or so friends ( out in the country ) used to wrestle alot. A favorite passtime. You're right; nothing at all like TV wrestling entertainment. Reply #186 - I will wager on Thor ( and vote for him as our poster-boy for "Men Built Like Bears".

Back in primary school my classmates and me wrestled every day trying to imitate all our favourite WWE superstars; I always tried to to the "Spinebuster" just like Batista, however, one time a newbie gave me a strong low blow out of nowhere while I was in the process of lifting him up; I cried for five minutes straight and we were never allowed to wrestle again.

By the way; I know that WWE Raw and Smackdown are scripted, But I still enjoy it. My two favorite TV shows are Gunsmoke and Mash. Those are actor's too, but I love watching them.

Gunsmoke is my all time favorite western series. When on furlough i started watching all the old reruns on METV and INSP. I don't remember much of the real old episodes back in the 50's so I was nice to watch some of them when they were only half hour episodes. Mash was a classic. Always was and always will be. By the way brobear i've been meaning to mention that's a great T-shirt you got there on your avatar....

I saw video of him a year or two ago when he came to Minnesota and visited the Vikings new training facility. He got to meet some of the coaches and players and even some of the big lineman when they shook his hand were in awe of how big he was. At the start of each game a guest blows the Gjallarhorn and Thor did his thing.

Hope to see many more men built like bears. I would love to see a WWE tag-team with Braun Strowman and "Thor" ( Hafthor Björnsson ). Who would even get into the ring against these two ( the man-monster and the man-mountain )?

Maybe you could make it a tag team. Those two you mentioned and the Undertaker and the Big Show. You could call it "The Land of The Giants"

You could call it "The Land of The Giants" Ever since its been possible to do ( with tech ) I've recorded WWE and watch it the following morning so that i don't have to site through so many long commercials. But just a few days ago I deleted WWE from my recordings. The "storylines" and the character portrayals have just gotten too ridiculous for me - stupid really. Way too much talk and show and too little action. The talent is not as good as it once was. In fact; I might would watch if they separated women's wrestling from men's wrestling into two different shows. Much better talent among the ladies.

I quite watching that crap long time ago, probably 90's early 2000's. Actually it's been since the NWA folded. Never did like Vince McMahon and his new version of the WWE. The Wrestlers today are boring. They just don't have what their predecessors had that made the storylines interesting. The characters from a 20 years or so ago were much more interesting.

Believe it or not, sometimes the talking segments are better than the action.
