The fallout from ash would be devastating to plant and animal life. Here is a fallout vs ash depth map should an eruption occur.

So that eruption would affect the whole United States as we can see in that map. geology.com/articles/volcanic-ash.shtml What is Volcanic Ash? Volcanic ash consists of powder-size to sand-size particles of igneous rock material that have been blown into the air by an erupting volcano. The term is used for the material while it is in the air, after it falls to the ground, and sometimes after it has been lithified into rock. The terms "volcanic dust" and "volcanic ash" are both used for the same material; however, "volcanic dust" is more appropriately used for powder-size material. Impact on Human Health: People exposed to falling ash or living in the dusty environment after an ash fall can suffer a number of problems. Respiratory problems include nose and throat irritation, coughing, bronchitis-like illness and discomfort while breathing. These can be reduced with the use of high-efficiency dust masks, but exposure to the ash should be avoided if possible. Long-term problems might include the development of a disease known as "silicosis" if the ash has a significant silica content. The U.S. National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health recommends specific types of masks for those exposed to volcanic ash. Anyone who already suffers from problems such as bronchitis, emphysema, or asthma should avoid exposure. Dry volcanic ash can stick to a moist human eye, and the tiny ash particles quickly cause eye irritation. This problem is most severe among people who wear contact lenses. Some skin irritation is reported by people in ashfall areas; however, the number of cases and their severity are low.

Nothing will survive the epicenter of the blast. All the food resources will be gone. I myself use contact lenses by the way.

www.vox.com/2014/9/5/6108169/yellowstone-supervolcano-eruptionEven so, the Yellowstone supervolcano remains an endless source of apocalyptic fascination — and it's not hard to see why. In September 2014, a team of scientists published a paper in Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems exploring what a Yellowstone super-eruption might actually look like. Among other things, they found the volcano was capable of burying states like Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Colorado in three feet of harmful volcanic ash — a mix of splintered rock and glass — and blanket the Midwest. That much ash could kill plants and animals, crush roofs, and short all sorts of electrical equipment: A super-eruption could conceivably bury the northern Rockies in three feet of ash — devastating large swaths of Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Montana, and Utah. Meanwhile, the Midwest would get a few inches of ash, while both coasts would see even smaller amounts. The exact distribution would depend on the time of year and weather patterns. That much volcanic ash is capable of killing people, plants, and animals and crushing buildings. Even a few inches of ash (which is what much of the country can get) can destroy farms, clog roadways, cause serious respiratory problems, block sewer lines, and even short out transformers. Air travel would have to shut down across much of North America. A volcanic eruption that big would also have major effects on the global climate. Volcanoes can emit sulfur aerosols that reflect sunlight back into the atmosphere cool the climate. These particles are short-lived in the atmosphere, so the effect is only temporary, but it can still be dramatic.

If this thing erupted it would make the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption look like a ..... well nothing. Thousands of times more powerful. Surprisingly lava flow would only extend about 40 miles in diameter from the blast. The ash would be the real killer.

Within human history, we have experienced a super volcano only once. www.livescience.com/29130-toba-supervolcano-effects.html A supervolcanic eruption thought to have nearly driven humanity extinct may not have endangered the species after all, a new investigation suggests. Supervolcanoes are capable of eruptions dwarfing anything ever seen in recorded history, expelling thousands of times more magma and ash than even a Mount St. Helens or Pinatubo. A supervolcanic eruption could wreak as much havoc as the impact of a mile-wide asteroid,by blotting out the sun with ash, reflecting its rays and cooling the Earth — a phenomenon called a "volcanic winter." A dozen or so supervolcanoes exist today, some of them lying at the bottom of the sea. The largest supervolcano eruption of the past 2.5 million years was a series of explosions of Mount Toba on the Indonesian island of Sumatra about 75,000 years ago. Researchers say Toba spewed out a staggering 700 cubic miles (2,800 cubic kilometers) of magma, equivalent in mass to more than 19 million Empire State Buildings. By comparison, the infamous blast from the volcanic Indonesian island of Krakatoa in 1883, one of the largest eruptions in recorded history, released about 3 cubic miles (12 cubic km) of magma. About the same time the eruption took place, the number of modern humans apparently dropped cataclysmically, as shown by genetic research. People today evolved from the few thousand survivors of whatever befell humans in Africa at the time. The giant plume of ash from Toba stretched from the South China Sea to the Arabian Sea, and in the past investigators proposed the resulting volcanic winter might have caused this die-off. [Countdown: History's Most Destructive Volcanoes] However, recently scientists have suggested that Toba did not sway the course of human history as much as previously thought. For instance, prehistoric artifacts discovered in India and dating from after the eruption hinted that people coped fairly well with any effects of the eruption. Now researchers have found that the evidence shows Toba didn't actually cause a volcanic winter in East Africa where humans dwelled. "We have been able to show that the largest volcanic eruption of the last two million years did not significantly alter the climate of East Africa," said researcher Christine Lane, a geologist at the University of Oxford. If it happens in our lifetime then it happens, not much anyone can do about it. Life finds a way and eventually things return albeit a different world.

www.theepochtimes.com/here-is-what-happened-the-last-time-the-yellowstone-volcano-erupted-researchers_2829944.html?fbclid=IwAR1mNp1CB_bvJ52P605cNdRkm_nJkQTvyUIjcOe6-4Sr186J2GbvYYK6CmU Here Is What Happened the Last Time the Yellowstone Volcano Erupted: Researchers. Scientists believe Yellowstone’s volcano, if it erupts, will provide far less advance warning that previously believed, according to a major study. It is believed the last eruption took place about 630,000 years ago. Researchers at Arizona State University analyzed fossilized ash and found minerals inside. From that, they believe the supervolcano woke up just two minutes after fresh magma flowed into the reservoir beneath the Yellowstone caldera, according to National Geographic. Those minerals revealed that the temperature and composition, which led up to the eruption, built up in a few decades. In the past, geologists believed that it would take hundreds or thousands of years for the Yellowstone volcano to make such a transition. “It’s shocking how little time is required to take a volcanic system from being quiet and sitting there to the edge of an eruption,” Hannah Shamloo, an Arizona State University graduate student involved in the study, told The New York Times. “We expected that there might be processes happening over thousands of years preceding the eruption,” said Christy Till, a geologist at Arizona State. “It’s one thing to think about this slow gradual buildup—it’s another thing to think about how you mobilise 1,000 cubic km of magma in a decade,” Kari Cooper, a geologist at the University of California, said. National Geographic noted that there was a 2013 study that showed that the magma reservoir that feeds the caldera is nearly three times larger than it was previously estimated, and the researchers think that every time the supervolcano has erupted, the reservoir is drained. But that reservoir may fill up faster than was previously anticipated, said researchers. Michael Poland, who is in charge of Yellowstone Volcano Observatory for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), said the caldera is among the best-monitored in the world. He thinks it doesn’t pose a threat at the time. “We see interesting things all the time … but we haven’t seen anything that would lead us to believe that the sort of magmatic event described by the researchers is happening,” he said. Yellowstone’s last eruption, according to researchers, was about 630,000 years ago. The New York Times reported that an eruption would spew 2,500 times more material than the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption in Washington state, which left dozens of people dead. “The term ‘supervolcano’ implies an eruption of magnitude 8 on the Volcano Explosivity Index, indicating an eruption of more than 250 cubic miles of magma. Yellowstone has had at least three such eruptions: The three eruptions, 2.1 million years ago, 1.2 million years ago and 640,000 years ago, were about 6,000, 700 and 2,500 times larger than the May 18, 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State,” according to the Yellowstone Park website. The last time it erupted, according to the site, the eruption area collapsed inward on itself and created a 1,500-square mile sunken crater. “The magmatic heat powering that eruption (and two others, dating back 2.1 million years) still powers the park’s famous geysers, hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots,” it says. In the past year or so, geysers in Yellowstone have become more active. “It’s a good lesson in how geysers actually work,” Poland told National Geographic on Feb. 19. “As soon as you start to recognize a pattern, it changes.” The upsurge in geyser activity is taking place at the Norris Geyser Basin, he added. “As geysers go, Steamboat is sort of typical in terms of having these sporadic, unpredictable eruptions,” Poland told the magazine. “But because it’s this really tall geyser and it has this name recognition, it makes it that much more interesting.” Poland stressed there has been no change in the underlying heat source, and there have been no major geological changes. “What absolutely isn’t worth speculating about is the state of Yellowstone’s infamous volcanic system. Any uptick in any sort of activity at Yellowstone seems to spark fears about a catastrophic eruption of the park’s huge caldera, even though such worries are unfounded,” said National Geographic, citing Poland.

newspunch.com/tens-of-thousands-of-scientists-declare-climate-change-a-hoax/ Tens of Thousands Of Scientists Declare Climate Change A Hoax A staggering 30,000 scientists have come forward confirming that man-made climate change is a hoax perpetuated by the elite in order to make money. One of the experts is weather channel founder, John Coleman, who warns that huge fortunes are being made by man-made climate change proponents such as Al Gore. In a recent interview with Climate Depot, Coleman said: “Al Gore may emerge from the shadows to declare victory in the ‘global warming’ debate if Hillary Clinton moves into the White House. Yes, if that happens and the new climate regulations become the law of the land, they will be next to impossible to overturn for four to eight years.” Climate change proponents remain undeterred in their mission, ignoring numerous recent scientific findings indicating that there has been no warming trend at all for nearly two decades. Al Gore’s dire predictions of the melting of polar ice on a massive scale have proved to be completely false. In fact, in 2014 – a year that was touted as being “the hottest ever” in the Earth’s history – there were record amounts of ice reported in Antarctica, an increase in Arctic ice, and record snowfalls across the globe. Debunking the “97 percent” lie On top of those “inconvenient truths,” the White House’s assertion that 97 percent of scientists agree that global warming is real has been completely debunked. Several independently-researched examinations of the literature used to support the “97 percent” statement found that the conclusions were cherry-picked and misleading. More objective surveys have revealed that there is a far greater diversity of opinion among scientists than the global warming crowd would like for you to believe. From the National Review: “A 2008 survey by two German scientists, Dennis Bray and Hans von Storch, found that a significant number of scientists were skeptical of the ability of existing global climate models to accurately predict global temperatures, precipitation, sea-level changes, or extreme weather events even over a decade; they were far more skeptical as the time horizon increased.” Other mainstream news sources besides the National Review have also been courageous enough to speak out against the global warming propaganda – even the Wall Street Journal published an op-ed piece in 2015 challenging the Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) pseudoscience being promulgated by global warming proponents. And, of course, there are the more than 31,000 American scientists (to date) who have signed a petition challenging the climate change narrative and 9,029 of them hold PhDs in their respective fields. But hey, Al Gore and his cronies have also ignored that inconvenient truth, as well. Many of those scientists who signed the petition were likely encouraged to speak out in favor of the truth after retired senior NASA atmospheric scientist John L. Casey revealed that solar cycles are largely responsible for warming periods on Earth – not human activity. Al Gore and cronies continue getting richer from the global warming hoax But the global warming crowd continues to push their agenda on the public while lining their pockets in the process. If you’re still inclined to believe what Al Gore has to say about global warming, please consider the fact that since he embarked on his crusade, his wealth has grown from $2 million in 2001 to $100 million in 2016 – largely due to investments in fake “green tech” companies and the effective embezzlement of numerous grants and loans. You might want to take all of this information into serious consideration before casting your vote in the November election.

www.globalclimatescam.com/opinion/top-ten-reasons-climate-change-is-a-hoax/ Top Ten Reasons Climate Change is a Hoax The Senate voted this week on whether Climate Change is real or a hoax, I think it’s a hoax and here’s why. I’m sure you’ve heard in the news that 2014 was supposed to be the hottest year ever. If it actually was “hottest year ever” you’d think all the terrible calamities that are supposed to happen would be happening now but instead the opposite is happening. 1. Record Ice In 2014 there was record sea ice in Antarctica in fact a global warming expedition got stuck in it. Arctic sea ice has also made a nice comeback in 2014. The Great lakes had record ice Lake Superior only had 3 ice free months in 2014. You’d think that in the hottest year ever that ice would be melting like Al Gore said. 2. Record Snow 2014 saw record snowfall in many areas, remember when they said that global warming would cause snow to disappear and children won’t know what snow is. 3. Record Cold In 2014 we saw all kinds of cold records remember the Polar Vortex? You’d think that we’d be breaking all kinds of heat records in “the hottest year ever” 4. Oceans Are Rising Much Less Than Predicted Al Gore predicted that oceans would rise 20 feet by 2100, it looks like were on track for about a foot. 80% of the tide gauges show less rise than the official “global average”. Many tide gauges show no rise in sea level, and almost none show any acceleration over the past 20 years. 5. Polar Bears Are Thriving You’d think that Polar Bears would really be in trouble in 2014 “the hottest year ever” but they are thriving. 6. Moose Are Making A Comeback A few years ago the moose population in Minnesota dropped rapidly and they immediately blamed global warming, then they did a study and found out it was actually wolves that were killing the moose. Wolves have been taken off the endangered species list and are now endangering other species so they opened a wolf hunting season in Minnesota and the moose are coming back. It turns out it had nothing to do with global warming in fact the years when the moose population declined were some very cold ones. 7. 99% of Scientists don’t believe in Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming You’ve probably heard over and over that 99% of scientist believe in global warming well the opposite is true. That talking point came from a study where only 75 scientists said they believe in global warming on the other hand over 31,000 scientists have signed a petition saying they don’t believe in Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming. 8. Nature produces much more CO2 than man In 2014 NASA finally launched a satellite that measures CO2 levels around the globe. They assumed that most of the CO2 would be coming from the industrialized northern hemisphere but much to their surprise it was coming from the rainforests in South America, Africa and China. 9. It Isn’t Actually the Warmest Year. If you look at the satellite data 2014 was not the warmest year ever in fact there has been no global warming for over 18 years. The Reason they can say it’s the warmest year is because they are using the ground weather station data which is heavily influenced by the Urban Heat Island effect, many of which are near pavement. Even still they had to cherry pick that data to get at the warmest year ever and it is only the warmest by only two-100ths of a degree within a dataset that has a variability of a half of a degree. The fact they they had to ignore accurate data and fudge sketchy data to push their agenda proves (IMHO) that climate change is a hoax. 10. The Hypocrisy of the Main Players One of the main reasons you can tell that global warming is a hoax is that the main purveyors of global warming live lifestyles opposite of what they preach, they all own multiple large homes and yachts and they fly around the world in private jets pushing their propaganda. Not to mention some people such as Al Gore actually profit from Carbon Taxes and other green energy laws. If they actually believed what they preached they would be leading quite different lives.
