Summary:
In a parrallel earth where humans do not exist, lived a huge polar bear named Lars Maritimus. Lars Maritimus has the safe life as the 2200 pound polar bear which was shot by a poacher on the original earth. This story will talk about his life as a cub all the way to adulthood.
Note: Unlike the male blue ice bears that can kill bull mammoths and rhinos and animals twenty times their weight, Lars Maritimus will have the same proportionate strength as polar bears on the original earth.

Chapter 1: A male cub was born.
Late autumn has arrived and the male polar bears as well as the recently independent female juveniles as well as the mother polar bear with cubs headed out to the ice pac. One young female pregnant polar bear went into hibernation where she gave birth to her first litter of four cubs. The largest of the cubs was named Lars Maritimus. Lars Maritimus was the oldest of the polar bear cubs and he had two younger sisters and a brother. For the next few months all the way up to mid spring, the Lars Maritimus remained in the snow den with his mother and siblings. During that time, the cubs live off their mothers milk. The polar bear sow does not eat at all but she lived off the fat stored up in her body. Lars Maritimus being larger and stronger than his siblings easily pushed them aside. However, the cubs generally got along and played well together. Winter seem to take forever and the mother polar bear did allow the cubs to leave the den not even after spring has begun until it was a made.
When spring arrived Lars Maritimus and his siblings came out ahead of their mother. These cubs are yet to learn that there are a lot of dangers in the real world. They come in the form of running hyenas, arctic wolves, snowy owls, great skuas, pomerian skuas, and giant petrels. At the moment, it is important for a cub to stay close to its mother. Woolly mammoths and rhinos also exist in the tundra during the summer.

Chapter 2: The battle of two titans.
A battle between two titans began, a rogue bull woolly mammoth and a bull woolly rhino were engaged in battle. The battle was the biggest titanic battle ever in the tundra and no animal could take them on. (Unlike the male blue ice bears that can take down bull mammoths and rhinos on planet Diamond, the yellowish white polars on earth stay away from a battle like this). The battle continued for an hour. Eventually, the bull mammoth took the bull woolly rhino and gored it to death. The bull mammoth walked away after kicking the rhino around a bit. A big meal was present and many polar bears showed up at once and feasted. There was a feeding hierarchy regardless. The big males always went first and would kill any juvenile without manners. Lars was about to help himself but his mother pulled him away. The woolly rhino carcass lasted for days. Once the males were gone, the female polar bears and their cubs got their share of meat. Lars Maritimus and his siblings played around for a while.

Chapter 3: Arctic tigers and nanqusaurus pack.
Unlike the original earth, dinosaurs also existed on this planet. Tigers with green eyes called the Arctic tigers also live in the tundra. They are about the same weight as modern days Bengal tigers. While an adult polar bear is stronger than an Arctic tiger. Cubs and juvenile polar bears are targeted at times. While male polar bears are avoided and left alone, female polar bears are occasionally taken. Lars Maritimus brother was killed by an Arctic tiger and his mother had arrived too late. The tiger had fled at that time.
Even more dangerous is the pack of nanqusaurus, the only pack where even a large male polar bear cannot displace (like it does with a pack of wolves and running hyenas). Nanqusaurus packs at times kills polar bears which leave the ice pack. Lars Maritimus was thought by his mother to watch out. There is only so long Lars Maritimus can rely on his mother. Summer is almost over and autumn is coming. Soon his mother will mate again and Lars and his sisters will be on their own. Lars has better learn as much as he can now.
The following year, as Lars had predicted, his mother join the mating fray. The male polar bears were fighting fiercely often to their death. The losers which survive will end up getting killed by nanqusaurus packs. Lars and his sisters knew it was time for them to part ways with their mother who no longer cared for them. Lars and his sisters parted ways and went off into the ice pac their seperate ways.

Chapter 4: Lessons applied.
Lars Maritimus applied the lessons thought by his mother well. He hunted and killed ringed seals. Lars Maritimus even killed a bearded seal on his own at only two years old. This is because he was an exceptionally large specimen at that age. Lars Maritimus foolishly tried to take on a bull walrus but was almost stabbed. This sub adult male does not possess the strength to take down a bull walrus yet but he will when he is older.
For the time being, Lars Maritimus learn on his own how conduct himself among the male polar bears especially at a large carcass. Lars Maritimus humbly took the last place in line as he waited for his turn to eat a beluga carcass. The beluga whale was actually killed by the dominant male polar bear, Lars wished to become one day.
Back in the tundra, the male grizzly bears are taking out the polar bears cubs as they have followed the scent of the female polars to the north. Due to the fact, the male polar bears were larger than them, the male grizzlies waited for the polar bears to go off to the arctic ice pac before raiding the dens of females with newly born cubs. Little did Lars Maritimus realise he is going to be the last male polar bear soon.

Chapter 5: A lighter side of polar bears.
When polar bears are not hunting, they enjoy relaxing in the sun. Young adult males enjoy play fighting and wrestling. As polar bears grow older, their fur turns from white (due to their translucent fur reflecting all seven colours) to yellowish white due to sun oxidation and seal oil. At four years old, Lars Maritimus is beginning to go from pure white to yellowish white. His skin and tongue is black just like his nose. Even though Lars Maritimus is a poor performer when it comes to crushing, he has an efficient slicing bite that can cut through the thick hide of walrus, beluga, and narwhale (unlike the male blue ice bear which has the strongest crushing bite in the universe and a highly efficient slicing bite).
Lars Maritimus in general might look cuddly when not hunting and he even played with an alpha male wolf with no intention of killing it. The alpha male wolf did not like it one bit and ran away the moment he had his chance. It seems the polar bear has a playful side to him.
Polar bear ‘couples’ are also tender and affectionate towards each other. Every animal has a gentle side to them and the polar bear is no exception.

Chapter 6: Breeding season.
Lars Maritimus at age six now is now sexually mature despite not being full grown. Most male polar bears at that age are excluded from mating with females by the older male polar bears until they reach 8 to 10. However, Lars Maritimus being an exceptionally large male polar bear was able to kill a few of the smaller full grown adults and managed to attract a few female polar bears including older ones to himself. Lars Maritimus is no longer at the bottom of the barrel in the male polar bear hierarchy but he is still not powerful enough to kill the dominant male.
Lars Maritimus spent days and weeks with a female polar bear before their honey moon ended and it is time for them to go their seperate ways. Lars Maritimus did not only have one but many honey moons as female polar bears seem to pick him. Lars Maritimus is 1800 pounds at this time.
Rarely does any polar bear his age enter breeding season immediately after becoming sexually mature. If Lars Maritimus were a human, he would be considered mature beyond his years.

Chapter 7: Accomplishments.
Lars Maritimus had plenty of accomplishments throughout his life. By eight years old, Lars Maritimus took down a huge old bull walrus whic had turn carnivorous and separated himself from the rest of the herd due to sickness. The walrus weighed 4400 pounds and the fight wasn’t easy as although sick, the giant pinnappide had thick hide and blubber to protect his blubber as well as enough strength to drag Lars Maritimus around. Lars Maritimus, however, managed to kill the walrus with a well placed blow to the skull (after many attacks of course).
By nine years old, Lars Maritimus became the second strongest bear in his area. This happened at a place where many male polar bears were eating a bull woolly mammoth (which got killed by a younger bull mammoth). Lars Maritimus pushes all the male polar bears out of the way except the largest male polar bear (the dominant male) which barely bear him. Lars Maritimus had to wait for the dominant male polar bear to finish eating before taking over. By ten years old, Lars Maritimus killed the dominant polar bear and a lot of other males during the breeding season. Red blood was spilled that day. The new dominant male polar bear chased off a bull woolly mammoth which came too close while Lars Maritimus was having a honeymoon with a female polar bear. Lars Maritimus was by now one of the few males left as many male polar bears got killed by nanqusaurus and many female polar bears fled southwards to mate with the male barren ground grizzly bears. Lars Maritimus nevertheless was the largest and strongest male polar bear during his lifetime.
Lars Maritimus even attacked and killed a huge arctic tiger that ambushed one of his mates. The fight started when Lars Maritimus and his mate had just finished their honey moon. When the Arctic tiger thought Lars Maritimus was far enough, the all white tiger with green eyes ambushed the female polar bear which was slightly heavier than him. The all white tiger would have killed the female polar bear if Lars Maritimus had not come back on time. The now 10 year old dominant male polar bear knock the 600 pound male all white tiger off his mate with his jaws. Lars Maritimus held down the arctic tiger with his powerful forearms and snap the all white tiger’s spine by shaking his jaws like a canine does. The biggest male polar bear has killed the dominant male all white tiger in his area. The same male polar bear also killed many male grolar bears and male barren ground grizzly bears which tried to compete during the mating season.

Chapter 8: The attack of the namqusaurus pack.
Lars Maritimus returned back from the melting ice pack during late spring only to find red blood and dead bodies of male polar bears. Lars Maritimus was the last male polar bear alive. The last male polar bear sniffed the surroundings a smelt something strange. He was prepared for anything and there is no predator in his domain he cannot take out one on one. This is because even an average male polar bear was a able to I still fear in the arctic tigers, arctic wolves, and running hyenas. The last male polar bear ate a dying bull musk oxen alive when he heard a theropod roar in the air. That some came from the nanqusaurus leader and her pack.
It seems the last male polar bear had been eating a musk oxen which had been severely wounded by the nanqusaurus pack. The nanqusaurus packs has been picking off young and wounded male polar bears (during mating season) are finally confronting Lars Maritimus. This is one of the reason why many female polar bears have gone down south as their instinct tells them their offspring will be more adaptable to the climate change if they would mate with the male barren ground grizzlies.
Knowing he can’t outrun a pack of nanqusaurus, Lars Maritimus prepares his last defence. He was eyeing the pack leader of the theropods, a large female.
Lars Maritimus attacked and outgrappled the female nanqusaurus (pack leader) and broke her neck by shaking his jaws after holding her firmly with his jaws. The other nanqusaurus pack attacked and killed off the last male polar bear. Lars Maritimus died a warrior’s death.

Chapter 9: Snow white.
Although Lars Maritimus and the other male polar bears were killed by the nanqusaurus pack, their legacy lives on in their daughters. One of Lars Maritimus daughters, who had recently become independent left her mother recently. Her name was Snow White. Snow White actually fled all the way pass the tundra and down to where the seven grizzly brothers are living even in the interior mainland north where the grizzly bears are larger and more powerful though less aggressive than the barren ground grizzlies. The legacy of Lars Maritimus lives on in Snow White.

Chapter 10: The absence of the yellowish white bears.
In the absence of the yellowish white bears. This happened after the death of Lars Maritimus and the other male polar bears in the jaws of the nanqusaurus packs and the female polar bears fled south to mate with the barren ground grizzly bears, the arctic had one lest giant predator. The woolly mammoths and the woolly rhinos as well as the musk oxens and reindeer continued to thrive. The arctic tiger which used to hide in the background has now come to the foreground and now dominates wolf packs and as become the main predator of musk oxens. However, it still stays
clear of the nanqusaurus pack. The male polar bears used to dominate the Arctic tigers at carcasses, however, the female yellowish white bears avoided them to determine maximum safety for their cubs.
Grolar bears as well as barren ground grizzlies seem to stay clear of the nanqusaurus pack at the moment. The snowy owls still have the same lifestyle and the arctic foxes can’t simply follow the arctic tiger around given the largest big cat of the north can easily catch it. Overall the North Pole is thriving. One day the grolar bears might migrate north once again. End of Book 1.
