Driving a big rig over frozen lakes and rivers would be a horrific undertaking. Not for me. There used to be a reality weekly tv show called Ice Road Truckers. I haven't seen it for a couple years though, but I enjoyed it, those guys made some big bucks. Some of us here in Minnesota drive on lakes all winter long for ice fishing. But driving a big rig loaded down is quite another thing. Listening to the ice make funny sounds could get a little nerve racking. In the movie I was surprised that you could make waves under the ice from going too fast. Ice road trucking is a way of life for those that want to make some really good money.

Well; I finally watched "Godzilla vs King Kong". I overlooked how Kong was reinvented so as to be a challenge to the 'King of the Monsters'. I actually liked the ending of their fight against each other. Godzilla won - as it should be. But, Kong did not surrender. After Kong's life was saved through technology, he then saved Godzilla from the 'High-Tech Hunk-of-Junk' robot Godzilla rip-off. In the end, Kong refused to bow to the giant radio-active monster, and the two kings parted company. King Kong has had so many ridiculous changes over the years that he has fallen from my 'imaginary list of favorite monsters'. ( IMO ) too much change destroys the original.

I enjoyed the movie from a CGI special effects point of view as it was remarkable, however, the storyline or plot just got too far out there for my tastes. But if they're going to keep making Kong /Godzilla sequels there going to have to keep reinventing the wheel so-to-speak. It won't do well in box office these days unless it has a 5 star WOW factor. People really haven't been returning to the theaters once the restrictions lifted. Streaming services are becoming the new norm and with HBO max being one of them you can watch movies when their released.

Why not it appeared all of those big Hollywood stars enjoyed themselves making those expendable series. Get all the bad ass hero's from action movies of the past and put them all in one movie. They probably had a blast filming....

I think Billy the Kid also needs his own spin off.
