Wow, surprise surprise, so not only is "Populator" from Great Britain as his IP shows, but his first post is in the skulls thread. Ring any bells? Yeah, "Mondas" my ass, ha ha ha ha.
So Ferox, why do you like to impersonate Mondas huh? That's weird, he is not even a tiger fan like you, he loves lions only.

Any realistic appraisal of combative characteristics of cats surely must always respect, & recognise the natural facts, & the prime pride-boss male lion must be 'it', no question, per his 'raison d' etre' - just as his co-habiting females openly demand, & relentlessly so...

Yeah ok, nice copying of Mondas style of posting. No one is dumb enough here trust me. So now Mondas lives in Britain and posts about tiger skulls, thanks for making laugh. Well, have fun....while you can.

Well, have fun....while you can. That's mistaken... i ain't a style 'copy-cat' (as you accuse me of being Ferox the "feral ferret") - let alone a tiger-fancier...

Go n' check on Google Scholar - shall you find the contemporary cite per author of the collection.... Populator ... If you wish for someone to take you serious please provide links not clues to your information, clues that nobody but yourself can understand. If you can't.... then discontinue your meaningless posts.

Considering that there is very likely little if any difference in the body-plan of Ursus ingressus and the classic cave bear and, in fact, some paleontologists consider ingressus as probably being a subspecies, would it be possible to give a close estimation of body measurements and weight by comparing their skulls?

Reply #255 - the horrible bear does not appear to be so horrible. Only when compared to extinct bears.
