Our goal was to collect all bear information from head-to-toe, and we did it. And i think that every forum slows down when it achieves its goal. Forum were there are debates, they remain too much active but that activeness is useless as there is mostly going to be abuses, repeat and unquality info which we all have experienced. If members in our forum are not too much so that does not sadens me anyways. Forum with large numbers of members are the forums of war and they are mostly cat forums. As bearfans are few so thats why we have few members. However, we have acheived our true goal which hotly active forums do not gain.😎😎😎😎 Well spoken Montezuma. In our beginning in 2017, we had tons of research to do so as to cover every bear species and subspecies. So much to do! But today, we wait patiently for some new biologist's report, a paleontologist's discovery, or some exciting news story. Things are moving about much more slowly now. All I ask is for all of our members to stay in the saddle.

Basically most things have been covered here. Some things are just repetitive. However, I am sure new info will arrive.

One problem stands out like a red flag posted in a white snow-covered background. The Domain of the Bears has rapidly deteriorated into a 'Tiger vs Bear' site. No one here is more guilty than myself. Those ridiculous posts continuously made by radical desperate tiger fanboys, on other sites, gets on my nerves like a rash. For this reason, I am deleting access to all other animal forums from my "favorites." In the beginning, 5 years ago, we had posts concerning the relationship between the tiger and the bears of the RFE. But mostly, we were discovering the many bear species and subspecies, both living and extinct. I will be seeking valuable information.

This seems to happen with me from time to time. I post something and my meaning is misunderstood or taken to some extreme. Let's be clear. I'm not against Domain members posting on the 'tiger vs bear' topic; especially fresh new material. All I was trying to get across is that I personally plan to spend more time seeking pure bear information.

I am unable to find any for now. That is why I have been refraining from posting. At the moment, my focus is mainly on polar bears.

Status of the Domain of the Bears as of 11/30/22. 38 members with very little participation from less than a half-dozen. But, perhaps things will pick-up....

Well, momentarily things have picked-up and the Domain is once again active. All due to a certain fanboy jumping with joy over a newspaper story, exaggerated for sensationalism, after scavengers big and small discover the carcass of a dead brown bear. Among the scavengers were a tiger and a large, possibly male, brown bear. How the dead snow-covered bear came to his (or her) death is unknown. *The story continues in: Tiger vs Brown Bear - 21st century.

Simplified... Why things are slow here at the Domain of the Bears: 1- There are no more living bear species or subspecies for us to discover. 2- Extinct bear species are not often discovered. 3- All posters who are honest and knowledgeable are aware that full-grown male brown bears dominate tigers. This debate actually ended some years back with only a few remaining juvenile tiger fanboys arguing and posting false information (lies). *Nevertheless; we remain open to any news or information on the subject of bears.

I have noticed that not only our forum in full of information but is also quite popular as well. Everythime when i visit Domain, so i always see about 10 to 40 guests online viewing our forum. Now, in last 24 hours, there were about 400 guests who visited us. And it means people like our forum and visit quite oftenly which pleases me. In 26th June, 2021 at 12:18 pm there were 1,174 guests online which was a great achievement. I am happy to see that more and more people benfit from our information and learn about bears. I convey my thanks and good luck to all our guests who quite oftenly, almost daily, see our forum.
Not to forget to mention that in almost every google search related to Bears, domain is always mentioned as in top searches which means its popularly seen. I wish my best for our forum, members and guest.

Your words from this past April ring true Montezuma. However, we now average one post per day. The Domain is not a dying forum, but potential members might think it is.
