Nice find. I watched something similar and equally as amazing on a documentary once. Wish I could find some video evidence. A lone grey wolf killed a full-grown bison.

I think there was also an old account of a single wolf killing a musk oxen, it rarely happens as well.

Tigers prey on boars/wild pigs so yeah I'd call it an underdog account. A large tiger should have no fear of going head to head with any boar and shouldn't have much problems killing it, head on or ambush. Those accounts are quite interesting nonetheless. The bigger guy doesn't always win!

Post videos, pictures, or links showing cases of prey animals coming out on top. Inspired from my "Underdog accounts" thread. Examples include prey animals managing to escape the predator via outrunning them, failed ambushes, outfighting them, outwitting them, or help coming along.

To reply 1. Good god that looks god awful painful. That lioness probably won't be able to hunt for some time.

Wonder if that Lion was gored? Looks like it could have been.

Wonder if that Lion was gored? Looks like it could have been. Am not so sure Tom. The narrator said all the animals walked away with no major injuries. Maybe the lion was only tossed.
