This isn’t the first time “herbivorous” creatures have been found to munch on meat. Anecdotally, scientists have reported different species of rabbits eating meat since 1921. *Yeah, which led to a B-horror movie "Night of the Lepus". Rats will also consume meat.

/\ It is definately not. Certain primates like baboons will not hesitate to obtain meat from time to time.

That is not a fruit cake Mr. Monkey. Brobear can you do me a favor? For animals like rats, they're known vectors for diseases. Do you have any information about the immune system for the animals that eat these rodents? Ever since covid, I've been reading nonstop about the immune system and pathogens. How is it that certain creatures can comfortably consume them even if they're carrying potentially diseases like the plague, but others die? Most information about the immune system seems to be limited to mostly humans (I'm not the best at finding certain information). I felt this is somewhat relevant here, and also seeing the picture of a monkey eating a rat is kinda disturbing. Probably a human instinct since most of us associate rats with disease. How could those creatures eat such foul creatures without illness?
