I would love that also, but i think my idea is even better and much easier to come true. We go to Siberia, we find a 400 lb Amur tiger, we tranquilize him. Then we find and tranquilize an Ussuri brown bear, the weight has to be as parity as possible, else its not fair. Then, we put both of them in a locked cage until they wake up. There you have your fight. It would be better if we can get two 500 lb specimens though, but it would be almost impossible to find a 500 lb siberian tiger nowadays. Sorry, but that is a horrible idea. I am strongly against pit fights. Sure, I will read about historical staged fights, but I would never agree to any form of blood-sport. What I would like most to see, is their natural reactions with each other within their natural environment.

Brutestrength says: Im not too sure that the bear will win at parity. I say give the bear a 300 to 400 pound advantage. What do Peter from wildfact think about this fight? Like you, Peter seems to believe that a tiger would win in a size-parity fight. I disagree.

Well as i said, those two specimens would be wild animals though, right out of the wild. We know you love the wild, but i think cage fights are the best way to see a fair face to face fight, nose to nose, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, until death. Cant have the tiger circling around long distances and running away, its supposed to be face to face.

Unlike with humans and most animals, until a grizzly reaches an age in the neighborhood of about 20-years-old ( about 80 in bear years ), an old grizzly is stronger and tougher than a young grizzly. Congrats!

Throughout the Domain, readers are bound to notice that we very often repeat ourselves. In some matters, such as Tiger vs Grizzly we have brought forth pretty-much all there is. But the topic is too interesting to let die.

Yeah absolutely, we repeat, repeat, repeat. if we didnt repeat we would have to shut down this forum. The tiger vs grizzly thread has 39 long pages now, i think every piece of information, every expert report, every newspaper and book account has been posted. There is really not much more to post or say. Basically every thread here is complete.

The debates are all about repeating. How many times i debated the same person in different forums? Take that “Scorpion” for example, first we debated for 2 years all over youtube, always repeating the same things and posting the same info and accounts on different videos and threads, both of us. Then, as if that wasnt enough, we went to forums, we did the same thing in Starfox forum, we posted the same info, same accounts, and said the absolute same things. Then he went to Wildfact and did the same thing, while i am here at the domain doing the same thing. That is how these debates work, its endless and its just repeating and repeating and repeating.

So much that I don't like about pro-boards. The posts are not numbered. This makes it near impossible to refer back to a previous post. I cannot close a topic. I cannot pin a topic. I cannot merge topics. All of this I could do on Yuku which I think no longer exists. Also, I have no clue how much of this Polar can do; if he were here. I wish to create yet another site... not a blog but merely a place to collect data without the conversation. I will remain here. I will add... I wish now that polar and I had not posted about animal pit-fights. Nothing but trouble and takes away from real information.

All what you just said you needed, i have that on createaforum. Its all there. I just might use that then. But, I am going to wait until I have someone to help me build it right. I am a country boy, a prior-service marine and prior-service soldier, and worked low-pay jobs for 44 years ( including military years ). I am not a geek ( very poor computer skills ). Thanks.

Yes sir, i see. By the way, were you in the Vietman war? Yes, along with my two older brothers and more "good 'ol boys" from the nearby area ( school chums ) than I can look back and remember. We were a very patriotic bunch. Not all of America was.
