No school and nothing else to do. I believe this plague will be short-lived.

My return to carnivora.net/interspecific-conflict-f8/ has been a good experience. Sure, there are a few die-hard fan-boys still there ( like an infection ) but some very good posters including some very mature and honest big cat enthusiasts - big change from my previous experiences there.

Gurahl was a lion fan, that is why he was the moderator of the lion threads at Wildfact. But he knew very well that a bear was superior in a fight as his statements are in this forum. I know now that he is in heaven.

For a lack of a better place to put this: Born today in 1905 in Carthage, Missouri. Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom from 1963 to 1985 was a must-watch in my household!

I deleted "How to Debate with fan-boys" because we ( including myself ) were misusing it. From now on... anything Negative to be said about another site or a person from another site - let's communicate via Messages - in private - from now on.

Tiger king on Netflix. I know some of you may not have access to Netflix but has anyone had the unfortunate experience of watching any of this? This is the most bizarre series that I've ever had the displeasure of wasting time on. A collection of some of the most redneck low life's you could imagine. I watched 2 episodes thinking it has to get better after the first. Now I can't get those two hours back.... This is the trailer but it may not show some of the most bizarre chit that i've ever watched.

Reply #771, that is Joe exotic there. He had the largest big cat sanctuary in America. Starfox went there and they talked. Regarding lions vs tigers, Joe told Starfox, "the lion always wins". Now he will spend 22 years in prison.

This is an annoying season. The cinemas and a lot of outlets are close.

Read this concept. While it appears completely logical - even fool-proof - Mr. Spock would call it logical - and yet I stand alone; the only human on earth who comprehends this concept. Here it is: Size Parity. The most logical method of obtaining size parity when discussing a wild animal face-off which gives each species a fair comparison is to measure them at equal head-and-body length. Remember that the goal is not to make the two animals equal so as to give them each a 50-50 chance of winning. That would ruin the entire idea of what a face-off is all about. The object is to make a fair comparison which will highlight each animals natural advantages and disadvantages. At equal head-and-body length, the grizzly retains his natural advantages of weight and strength. The big cat retains his natural advantages of speed and agility. If we were to pit them in a face-off according to weight parity, we would then be cheating the grizzly of his natural weight and strength advantages. Also, we would be giving the big cat a bonus advantage of length and height of no less than a foot ( 30.5 cm ). *But as I stand alone... I now refuse ever to discuss a face-off at size-parity again.
