Personally, it doesn't make sense for the Ussuri brown bear to run from the Siberian tiger. Reason: The Siberian tiger is faster than the Ussuri brown bear and running from a tiger means easy prey. Since Ussuri brown bears and Asiatic black bears make 2.2% of the Siberian tiger's diet (which only consist of cubs, females and rarely subadult and old emaciated males in the Ussuri brown bear's case and adult males and females included in the Asiatic black bear's case amd even that is rare). I am even more certain that huge male healthy Ussuri brown bears are immune to tiger predation.

I have already constructed the skeleton for my mates story, 'Prehistoric Bird Park and the Cryptics'. Will be adding some details later on before sharing it.

In reality, year by year, the Siberian tiger’s diet of brown bears fluctuates, but its usually less than 1.5% each year.

Don't forget that many of those Tiger kills are done during the Bears hibernation. They kill them while in their den.

Killing hibernating Ussuri brown bears is no difference from a Fischer killing a sleeping Canadian lynx.

Man kills adult Grizzly. "Fraser Graham Kills Grizzly Bear With Knife While Hunting In Chain Lakes Area Of Alberta Fraser Graham was armed with his firearm, a knife and permit to hunt black bear when his life was almost taken by a wounded adult grizzly, confirms Alberta Justice." "It was a bloody and vicious struggle that culminated with Graham receiving several bites, as well as a crushed wrist and the grizzly dead." "It was a snowy Sunday, the last one in October, when Graham set off in the Chain Lakes area of southwestern Alberta in search of a bruin. He found one, put it in his sights and squeezed the trigger." m.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/11/01/ ... 94910.html Man Kills Grizzly With Hands and Teeth. "Rocky Mountain Grizzly Bear Jackson Hole, Wyoming This bear was taken by world famous hunter and hunting guide C. Dale Petersen of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It is one of only two grizzlies known to have been killed "without" the use of modern weaponry. Verified by game biologists, Mr. Petersen killed this bear with his hands, and oddly enough, his teeth. It is known that this bear had been aggravated by a group of backpackers, shortly thereafter, Petersen, unaware of previous happenings, came upon the bear. A fight-to-the-death ensued. Petersen, having his right hand and arm wedged in the bear's throat, actually used his own teeth and jaws to pinch off the bear's jugular vein. When the bear passed-out from the lack blood flow to the brain, Petersen beat the bear in the head with a stick." huckberry.com/journal/posts/man ... -and-teeth Man kills black bear with a stick. "A man who was attacked by a black bear while walking his dogs survived only after crushing the creature's skull with a stick." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... ve-it.html www.tapatalk.com/groups/animalfightclub/grizzlies-got-owned-by-other-animals-t87.htmlI find it surprising how a man can kill a grizzly with hands and teeth? The grizzly bear must be sick perhaps?

I'm sorry but this story is hard for me to swallow let alone believe that it happened the way it is told. No mention of whether this was an adult Grizzly or not. Hulk Hogan would not be able to overpower even a average size Grizzly. A healthy Grizzly could easily destroy any human if that was his intent. Sorry I say BS on this one.

Wow that was funny, ha ha ha. If that was a sloth bear, that leopard would probably be hidding in a corner of that cage.
But the title reads "sloth vs leopard" , maybe they changed it now. Did it say sloth bear before?
