Ok bro see you soon. What is FFA officer retreat by the way? It's where the FFA officers, (I'm chaplain by the way) go to our ag teachers cabin in Pennsylvania, and do fun stuff like swim in a body of water with a Beaver dam, ride four wheelers, see wild animals like elk and bears (hope to see a bear), and two of us cook a meal each day so we can learn to work together. And before you ask, yes, there is a pretty girl on the officer team who I'd like to take to homecoming. Homecoming ?? How old are you Smedz.

I'm guessing you're 37? Although now there are a couple of options I'm considering.

FFA Officer Retreat The story begins on Sunday morning, we all met at the high school so we could put all our luggage, food, etc in the vehicles. We also took some four wheelers with us on trailers. With everything loaded up, we were off, on the way, we ate at a burger king for lunch. I got the bacon king, and that thing was bigger than I thought it would be, but I ate the whole thing. Then we were off again. Once we arrived, we unloaded, and got ourselves settled down, there were bunk beds, I slept on an air mattress. The cabin we were in was blue rather than what a typical cabin looks like.
Later that day, we rode on the four wheelers, I didn't drive one, rode on the back of one. I held on to the back bars, and we were going up and down the hills, the one I was on got stuck at time, and the driver drove straight into a mud hole, making us stuck, and we had to be pulled out. When you're in Pennsylvania, at least in the part we were in, the view from the top of a huge hill is awesome! and one day, we rode up to a fire tower, climbed it, and had the most amazing view ever, you could see beyond the horizon from it! While riding the four wheelers, we saw both deer tracks and elk tracks, and when riding around, I had the feeling that I was in a place like Africa or India. Some spots just reminded me of those places. At one point, I had to make some echoing noises because why not.
On the first night, the girls scared the living crap out of the guys, they were screaming, and one of them even tried to get on the air mattress with me, I was trying to sleep while that was happening. Around a campfire, I did a demonstration on how to catch a rattlesnake, which made them laugh like crazy, and it was filmed, and there's probably like 100 copies of the video according to my ag teacher. We also saw a lot of deer, a flock of turkeys, and the best part, wild elk. Seriously, some of the elk were in people's yards. I did my elk bugle and cow elk call, they cared less about the bugle as this isn't the rut, but they payed attention to the cow call, one bull looked right in my direction. We saw some magnificent bulls, with a big pair of antlers, and I'll say this much, the people in that part of Pennsylvania are elk crazy. There was an elk statue, a place called "Old Bulls Cafe" with an elk head on it, an elk sculpture with zebra stripes, and a sticker on a door that said "Elkaholics". We saw no bears, but at Bilger's Rock, a dumpster was flipped over by a bear, and I'm pretty sure we found bear dung. Bilger's rock was really fun, as we climbed over the big rocks, one of us got stuck in one part of it, but got out. So there you have it, officer retreat was awesome!

Sounds like you had a good time Smedz. But the curiosity in me wants to hear more about this girl that tried to get on the mattress with you.

Just be yourself, don't try and be somebody your not as they will soon see right thru ya. Lol. Thanks for the advice. Seriously, the girls manage to convince the boys the spot we were in was haunted by tapping on the sides of the windows. The boys screamed like little girls.

Another tip being around girls, don't show emotional weakness, play it cool, and make her always be the first to say, "I love you!".

Always take the lead (e.g. Lets go to the movies it will be fun rather than say do you want to go to the movies with me).

Btw Smedz, it seems the boys in your camp need protection from the girls rather than the other way round since the girls manage to convince them to scream in fear 😃.
