A lot of good forums start small but patience has its virtue. Its is better to have quality members and post rather than quantity.

About Tigers and Brown bears - who are really stronger at wildfact.com/forum/ I really hate that I allowed myself to let that juvenile fan-boy to get under my skin the way he did. He did not win the "debate" by any stretch of the imagination. But he did succeed in raising my temperature which was about 60% of his ambition when he created that "debate". In reality, a strength contest between tiger and grizzly is not even a real debate. No contest at all.

No debate at all sir. Not even close. The fanboys convince themselves, nothing you can do. but sure as hell dont convince the smart debaters. A bear is much stronger than any tiger or lion, even at weight parity.

How about a smilodon populator, it is a stocky and powerful cat, however, i still support a polar bear and brown bear over a smilodon even at weight parity. What do you guys think?

Don't let yourselves be convinced that bears are automatically stronger than big cats just because the other person assumed the opposite. Panthera in WildFact does seem like an absolutely biased feline-fan, but I always maintained the position that big cats and bears are relatively stronger in certain aspects over others and that it isn't conclusive like both extremes of the sides like to believe.

I do not simply decide to believe something nor state anything that I do not truly believe just for the sake of arguing with some juvenile delinquent. Neither will I ever deny that which a big cat or any other beast can better the bear. I answered this post on the Grizzly section: Strength and Leverage.

I do believe that big cats especially pantherines and smilodons and even the cougar are powerful animals and can put up a good fight with bears at parity. However, the bulkier bear will have the stronger forearms which will help control the fight.

A lot of good forums start small but patience has its virtue. Its is better to have quality members and post rather than quantity. I agree. But we still need to change things so that the only way to post is to register and become a member. Waaay... to easy to some guest to do a "drive by" and spam or troll.

Only polar can remove the guest options unless he gives one of you guys the ability to do so (e.g. making you a co admin).

Yep, and we have asked him many times to change it or give the mods access to change it. So far no response.
