Are there many Latin Americans in southern states? When I got out of the Marines in Oct. 1969, I found out that there were Mexicans living in Charlotte, NC, the nearest city to where I once lived. I was amazed! Today, they are in every town, big and small.

Before 1848, southern states belonged to Mexico so there must have been many amigos still there. Furthermore, mass immigration from Latin America should have increased the number as well.

Are you talking about the South Eastern United States? Virginia's history begins with several Indigenous groups, including the Powhatan. In 1607, the London Company established the Colony of Virginia as the first permanent English colony in the New World. Became a state - June 25, 1788. Georgia - January 2, 1788. S. Carolina - May 23, 1788. N. Carolina - November 21, 1789. Tennessee - June 1, 1796. Louisiana - April 30, 1812. Mississippi - December 10, 1817. Alabama - December 14, 1819. Missouri - August 10, 1821. Arkansas - June 15, 1836. Florida - March 3, 1845. Texas - December 29, 1845.

No I mean the southern states of the west i.e. new Mexico, Texas, Arizona, California. Southeast and north states always belonged to us.

brobear which brown bear is the most robust in your opinion? Among living brown bears; the Kodiak - even per-size. He is heavy-boned, making me wonder if perhaps they might have a higher percentage of cave bear DNA. FYI; we are on page #100

Where does the Peninsula Alaskan brown bear lie in terms of robusity.

brobear how is Milo's story going? Do you decided the beast that will kill Papa Bear yet? Haven't seen any updates yet. I am planning to rewrite an old story. Read it and realise that plenty of details are missing.

I just wanted to know when you were going to continue your story.

Well, after well over a full month of talking to myself here, I have come to realize that I am the last true bear enthusiast left standing. Brobear - Standing Alone from ( Day #1 ) March 18th until ... What if we make a fictional brown bear .
