This is the first time I have seen a giant panda kill a peacock. It looks like the giant panda still has its predatory instincts. Once a predator always a predator.

I have read on books that pandas do occasionally feed on fish and rats but to see one kill a peacock confirms it still has carnivorous tendencies hidden some where.

Now e know why pandas have such strong heads. I believe that pandas can give cougars, leopards and jaguars a good fight. Size and weight advantage.
