This has probably already been posted here, but I really admire the strength and precision of a polar bear being able to kill a seal completely submerged underwater.

Yeah that's remarkable that she caught the seal in the water which is the seals element more than it is hers.

There is an account of a polar bear attacking a beluga in open waters which is just as impressive.

Consider this incredible statement: the polar bear dives into the arctic ocean and goes whale hunting. !

Will Witt sits down with polar bear expert and zoologist Dr. Susan Crockford, a source of several facts cited in our video, to address the claims that Facebook's fact-checkers flagged as "false information."

Reply #94, great interview. The largest polar bears, the ones from Foxe Basin are doing ok guys...this is awesome.

Good to hear. The average weight of the polars overall (if we include these outside Foxe Basin) could be around 900 pounds (probably).

The yellowish white bear is really a marine bear. That video above is very relaxing.

The yellowish white bear is really a marine bear. That video above is very relaxing. I'm simply amazed that anything can live on ice and in ice water and be happy and comfortable in such an extreme environment. Put a human - unclothed - there and well before his first hour is up he will be a frozen dead body.
