This song brings back beautiful memories, not of the Mississippi, but the much smaller muddy Catawba River in N.C. where I grew-up out in the country.

This short little music video was posted on Facebook. When I first played it I didn't know quite what to say or think?? Bizarre.. ok yeah I guess. I will say very artistic in a strange sort of way. Kind of fitting with Halloween just around the corner, Music is from Imagine Dragons. Green.. this might be right up your alley mate, lots of color. click to expand full screen if viewing on your computer. m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=320079985977709&id=100039271290043

I remember this. I was in Okinawa, just having recently left Vietnam. Growing up, my Mom told me that I kept Elvis in business. I owned probably every record he put out; 45s and albums. Oh, there was a Japanese "Elvis" impersonator that was absolutely incredible. Anyway... 1950s and 60s ( real ) Rock&Roll is my music.

brobearThat's amazing; 50s, 60s and 70s are my favourite decades of popular music. I also love classical music.

brobearAbsolutely, the music has to touch your heart and soul. There are also classical pieces that are very boring to listen to due to their monotony.

brobear I know that song, have played it myself. But I rather prefer this version, it's from the ragtime virtuoso Tom Brier who effortlessly plays around with it:
