Inspired by my previous two threads, this one may prove rather hard due to the difficulty of finding these instances and the low chances of this occurring. Post instances of predators taking down exceptionally large and powerful prey. Examples tigers killing elephants or rhinos, a bear taking down a large bull, a leopard killing a buffalo, crocodile killing a hippo, or anything else of that nature. Multiple predators are allowed if they're still not expected to win but managed to anyway.

The African lion seems to be forever at war ( like a gang-war ) with other lion prides, with spotted hyenas, and with the Cape buffalo. ( IMO ).
