We'll assuming there would be a fight, A big polar bear has the necessary size to dispatch a barron ground Grizzly which is the Grizzly most likely to encounter a Polar Bear. But we have seen instances in the past where the highly aggressive Barron ground Grizzly normally drives off a Polar Bear which I don't think anyone really understands why yet.

Cougar vs Wolf.
A huge male cougar kills a huge bull elk seven times his weight. Despite the fierce struggle, the elk put up, he was eventually taken down.
As the cougar began eating, he was surrounded by a pack of wolves which were after his kill. Despite being capable of taking down a wolf one on one, he was no match for ten of them and he retreated up a tree.
The alpha male fed first followed by the males, females, and pups.
Shortly, all the wolves wandered off leaving the alpha male to sleep on top of the carcass. This was a big mistake as the cougar returned and killed the alpha male wolf causing the pack to lose its leader.

SILVERBACK GORILLA VS BENGAL TIGER.
Primatologists had a project, they wanted to see what would happen if you leave a gorilla in Bengal tiger territory. They captured a huge 550 lb Eastern lowland gorilla and dropped him at Kaziranga National park. Not long after, a 500 lb tiger ambushed the gorilla. The tiger jumped on the neck of the gorilla, but the gorilla managed to pull him out with his powerful arms. The gorilla was hurt but not much, he was pissed off.
A fight started, the gorilla charged hard and the tiger back off. Then the tiger came back to attack with fast swipes, the gorilla was bleeding. The tiger tried to grab the throat again, the gorilla held him off with those long arms. The gorilla charged again and this time was able to land a hard blow with his arms, then got on top of the tiger, the gorilla bite the tiger's skull. Tiger died. The gorilla got picked up by the primatologists and taken back to Africa. He recovered from his injuries.

Chimpanzee vs Human.
A chimpanzee was captured in a village. There were people who had never seen a chimp before and wanted to test their strongest man against one. They choose their champion, a strong 300 pound man who was pitted against a 200 pound chimpanzee.
The fight was over almost as soon as it started. The man ended up losing a few fingers and being emasculates for life. That is what you get for confronting an angry chimp. The leader of the village release the chimp and said, āImagine if that was a silverback gorilla. No man can survive thatā.

Male polar bear versus Five African lions.
The circus in the Arctic had just closed up for today. The ring master forgot to escort his lions back in the ring and left them in the cage. Meanwhile, outside the circus tent, it was once again polar bear mating season.
A huge male polar bear at 2200 pounds has just defeated his rival and followed the female into the tent. The cage was left unlock and the disturb lions gang up on the female polar bear which walk into the gates.
The male polar bear broke into the cage which was strong enough to withstand the attacks of tigers and lions but not polar bears.
The same male polar bear rushed at the African lions forcing them to back off From his mate. The five lions at 550 pounds each were watching the 2200 pound male bear mating with his 750 pound mate.
The immense size and growl of the male polar bear kept the African lions at bay. One of the lions tried to sneak pass the bears.
The male polar bear caught and killed the 550 pound male African lion while the other four stood still doing nothing. While the lions could kill almost anything if they team up, none of them wanted to risk being killed by a much larger and stronger male polar bear.
The male polar bear fed on the dead body of the African lion together with his mate before they walked out of the cage and tent into the setting sunlight.
The ring master arrived the next morning and knew a male polar bear had killed one of his African lions.

A short faced bear match up will be good for the next round. On second thought, polar or grizzly bear vs smilodon populator will be a good one.

Male polar bear vs Smilodon populator.
Wanting to bring back smilodon populators back to life, a scientist clone a few hundred smilodon samples and placed them in British Colombia, Penisula Alaska, and Yellowstone Park.
A huge male smilodon populator entered the tundra and killed a lone bull musk oxen by jumping on its back and slashing away. Once on the ground, the male smilodon started to feed. Unfortunately, a male polar bear approached it.
Most times, a male polar bear would easily chase off even the biggest male smilodon, however, the Sabre toothed cat was extremely hungry today.
Not wanting to back down, the cat snarled barring its teeth. The male polar bear defeated the male smilodon by breaking its canine teeth while out grappling its smaller rival.
The male polar bear killed the male smilodon by biting its throat and breaking its neck by shaking its jaws.
The other smilodonās stayed away from the tundra as American black bears make easier prey.
The only time the smilodons will enter the tundra is when the male polar bears have gone out hunting on the ice pack.
The sound of male polar bears fighting during mating season was enough to frighten off the smilodon populators. Once a male polar bear killed a male smilodon populator which came into the tundra at the wrong time.

Grizzly vs Smilodon populator.
In the Yellowstone Park, a 300 pound male American black bear failed to get up the tree on time and became a meal for a smilodon populator.
A 1000 pound grizzly bear arrived and chased off the smilodon populator even breaking one of its canines and took sole possession of the American black bear carcass.

American black bear vs Cougar.
A huge 220 pound male cougar took down a 1000 pound bull elk as it was drinking water. The elk struggled to free itself but the cougar was latched on firmly with its claws and biting into the base of its skull.
Using on last resort, the bull elk ran into tree branches hoping there is one strong enough to knock the feline off but to no avail. The elk finally succumbed to tiredness and became a meal.
The cougar began to eat knowing that many animals will try to gets its food. A coyote tried to nip at the food but was caught and killed by the cougar.
The wolves which had split up to form mating pairs at that time. An alpha male approached while his mate stayed in the den to give birth. The alpha canine was attacked and killed by the cougar.
The smell of blood attracted a huge 500 pound male American black bear which did not hesitate to approach the cougar. Knowing that its opponent is too big, the cougar grab the carcass of the alpha male wolf and drag it up a tree. The bear took over the elk carcass while the cougar feasted on the dead wolf up the tree waiting for the bear to leave.
