Planet Diamond (Book 1 -Original version): Clodwall the male

Summary:



This story is about the life of a blue ice bear cub and his life begins as an independent cub to adulthood. His name will be Clodwall because of his features which will be mentioned later in the story. Clodwall will incur many trials (climate change and breaking of ice as well as dangers in the ocean) as well as interactions with different animals (e.g. neon blue running hyenas, neon blue foxes, neon blue skuas, indigo woolly mammoths, indigo musk oxens, snowy owls, neon blue gulls, neon blue wolf packs, indigo walruses, purple bearded seals etc) but the most dangerous interactions are with males of his own kind.



Note: There are no supernatural powers involved here. Some fiction will still be involved (e.g. the male blue ice bear will still be the strongest land animal). Some of my knowledge on polar bears plus some fiction will be applied.

Chapter 1: In a den.



Summer is over and the sparkling blue sea is freezing once again. The indigo woolly mammoths and rhinos have headed south to feast on more plant matter. The lemmings and hares are changing from red the blue. The bright blue albastrosses are flying south as well. It has just passed the mating season and while most blue ice bears were preparing to go out into the ice pack (the true realm of the blue ice bears), the pregnant females dugs themselves dens in the snow and were prepared to give birth to cubs. A female blue ice bear gave birth to two female cubs and one large male cub. The mother blue ice bears did not let her cubs leave the den for the rest of the winter till late spring. During that time, she does not eat at all but her cubs live on her milk. A male blue ice bear cub named Clodwall is about to say hello to planet Diamond.

Chapter 2: Springtime.



Spring time has finally arrived and the mother blue ice bear and her cubs emerged from the den. The female blue ice bear looked around and sniffed the air to make sure that all is safe for the cubs. She is ensuring that no blue running hyenas, bluish white brontornis, indigo smilodon populator, neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae, indigo wolverine, and most of all male blue ice bears are around. Yet she was prepared for everything and should push come to shove, this female blue ice bears will fight to death for her cubs. The male blue ice bear cub is much larger than his two older sisters. This is because many years ago before the existence of blue ice bears, some exceptionally male blue diamond bears and female blue diamond bears (which were created from the blue diamonds of the north) got trapped in the North Pole during the ice age and continental drift. Over time these blue diamond bears adapted to a more marine and carnivorous bite. They develop a powerful slicing bite that could cut through the toughest hide with ease yet maintained a crushing bite as well. (In fact the male blue ice bears have the strongest jaws in the universe). That is how the blue ice bears came into existence. An adult male blue ice bear is what Clodwall will one day become but for now he will enjoy his life as a cub. Clodwall was wide eyed and curious yet reserved while his two older sisters have a more upbeat personality. Clodwall watched the neon blue sea gulls and puffins and other sea birds fly to the cliffs or land on the ground several hundred metres away to feed their young. He also admired the blue flowers. His sisters in the meantime were playing with each other and running ahead of him. This is the season the North Pole enjoys the blue sunlight.During the spring many animals which migrated down south returned to the tundra. Yet danger also lurks close. While Clodwall’s sisters were playing with each other, the two female blue ice bear cubs accidentally bump into a male red Amphicyon ingens which has killed a bull indigo musk oxen. The female blue ice bear cubs affectionately rubbed against the red amphicyon ingen’s forearms. The irritated Amphicyon ingens growled. Upon realising the red beast is not their mother, the females cubs fled. Clodwall stood bravely between the red Amphicyon and his sisters, ready to risk his life. Clodwall’s life almost ended but thankfully a huge male blue ice bear attack the red Amphicyon ingens and killed it. This is the largest and most dominant male blue ice bear which weighs 20 tonnes (large even by blue ice bear standards). Clodwall and his sisters ran back to their mother.

Chapter 3: The dominant male.



Late autumn had arrived and Clodwall and his sisters followed their mother to the ice pac. This was Clodwall’s first experience on the ice. Clodwall and his sisters felt at home on the ice and even played together. The ice pac is indeed the true realm of the blue ice bears. He watched and learn to hunt ringed seals and also learned the social hierarchy of the blue ice bears at large food sources.

While blue ice bears are solitary animals, they are not unfriendly and will often greet each other warmly at large food sources. Despite being non territorial, there is still a social hierarchy among the blue ice bears. The largest and most dominant male blue ice bear always eats first. Any juvenile which tries to approach without manners will be beaten up or even killed by the adult males. Clodwall was about to realise that the hard way. He approached a huge indigo bull walrus carcass which belongs to the dominant male blue ice bear which once saved his life. The male blue ice bear not in a mood to share pushed Clodwall away roughly. Clodwall tried again but the dominant male growled at him. Clodwall’s mother jump in the way of the male blue ice bear, ready to fight to her death. The male blue ice bear dragged away the indigo bull walrus carcass. Clodwall’s life was once again saved.

During the late spring, the dominant male blue ice bear killed a bull indigo rogue woolly mammoth. A ten tonne male blue ice bear took down a bull woolly rhino. Apart from the blue ringed seals and indigo bull walruses, these are the prey a male blue ice bear will kill. The male blue ice bears have proven themselves to be the strongest land animal in the universe. This was proven when the dominant male blue ice bear displaced a whole pride of indigo smilodon populators from their musk oxen carcass. However, no man was able to see that in action due to the powerful gravity pull which no man from earth will survive. Clodwall watched the dominant male blue ice bear and was impressed by his size and strength. Clodwall’s mother nudge him and his sisters as a signal to move on. Clodwall can only rely on his mother for so long.

Chapter 4: Independence.



One year passed quickly. Clodwall now weighs 4400 pounds and is twice as big and heavy as his mother who weighs 2200 pounds (a big female blue ice bear herself). Clodwall’s sisters are almost as big as their mother. The female blue ice bear pays little attention to Clodwall now but she is still protective over his sisters. It is only because of the strong bond between Clodwall and his sisters that he stayed on with his mother (for now). As the blue ice bears were travelling, a pride of indigo smilodon populators surrounded them. While even the smallest male blue ice bear is capable of killing a whole pride of indigo smilodon populators, Clodwall was only a one year old male blue ice bear cub despite the fact he outweighs the largest indigo smilodon populator. One indigo smilodon populator attacked one of the female cubs, sinking its neon blue fangs into her shoulder. Clodwall’s mother attacked the smilodon populator but was attacked by the others. Clodwall attacked the smilodon populator which was attacking one of his sisters. Clodwall charged the smilodon populators which were surrounding his mother. Clodwall, however, discovered to his horror that one of his sisters had been killed with a skull bite. As there were too many smilodons for a one year old male cub to take on, Clodwall had to leave with his mother and sister. Clodwall’s mother did not pay attention to him but check on his remaining sister to see if she was alright. It looks like Clodwall’s time to leave his mother is sooner than expected. Mating season finally came and Clodwall’s mother mated with a young but sexually mature grown male blue ice bear weighing eight tonnes. Clodwall’s mother (now 12 years old) even enjoyed a honey moon with the dominant male (now ten years old and has already a biological father to many of the blue ice bear cubs) who is younger than her but fully mature. The fights between the males was very vicious and many of the younger males were killed. This is the survival of the fittest. Regardless of winning or losing a fight, all male blue ice bears get to mate as there are seven females to one male due to the heavy death toll on the male blue ice bears during mating season. In other words the only male blue ice bears which do not get to mate are these which are killed or have not reached sexual maturity. Clodwall did not participate as he was not yet sexually mature. Autumn came again and Clodwall gave his sister an affectionate goodbye before departing. Clodwall’s sister also left their mother and both bears went their seperate ways. By then, Clodwall’s mother did not even pay attention to his sister and did not care that she had left. The ice pack finally froze and Clodwall followed the rest of the male blue ice bears on the ice pack to hunt. This is a totally new adventure for Clodwall. Clodwall’s sister ventured off on her own as well.

Chapter 5: The ice pack.



Clodwall enjoyed his adventure on the ice pack. It was initially hard to find his way around the bright blue icy desert. Clodwall even had to battle the strong winds, however, he moved forward like a warrior braving the hurdles in his life. Knowing he will one day be the strongest land animal in the universe, Clodwall did not give up despite being unable to find nothing for days. On day five, Clodwall saw tracks and huge paw prints of an adult male blue ice bear. Clodwall followed the tracks and paw prints only to discover an adult male blue ice bear dragging out a large neon blue male beluga from its breathing hole. Although not strong enough to usurp the adult of his kill, Clodwall approach with manners. The adult male blue ice bear relented and allowed Clodwall to eat the left overs and departed. Moments later, Clodwall spotted the dominant male blue ice bear eating an indigo bull walrus he had killed. The dominant male also noticed Clodwall but did not bother him. In fact, both blue ice bears minded their own business.



Clodwall has finally eaten his fill, however, he still needed to learn to hunt if he was to survive till late spring. Clodwall left his food to the neon blue foxes and tried to catch a blue ringed seal at the seal breathing hole nearby. Clodwall instead caught a huge indigo sea lion. Despite his inexperienced, Clodwall was a quick learner and killed the indigo sea lion fairly quickly. The dominant male blue ice bear had left the scene. The neon blue foxes waited for Clodwall to eat his full before helping themselves to the sea lion carcass (this is only after the blue ice bear cub had fallen asleep). Clodwall is now confident of his survival. The male blue ice bear cub travels up to 80 kilometres a day to search for prey from the size to ringed seals all the way up to indigo sea lions.



Late spring finally came and Clodwall had to leave the melting ice pack and head back to the tundra. As the ice pack began to melt, Clodwall spotted a 4000 tonne neon blue sperm whale break out of the ice and even smash an ice berg with his tail. The 4000 tonne male neon blue sperm whale and the 100 tonne male neon blue orcas were fighting among themselves. The male neon blue sperm whale won and send the neon blue orca swimming away. The Nordic sparkling blue ocean was also filled by neon blue common bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, belugas, narwhales, etc. Bright blue jellyfish which were twice the size of earth’s blue whales were also present.



Clodwall made it back to the tundra after weeks of swimming and riding on ice bergs. A male neon blue sperm whale actually broke one of the huge icebergs which Clodwall was resting on.

Chapter 6: A reunion.



Clodwall finally made it back on the tundra. He has more than doubled his weight during the winter and is now as big as the largest male blue diamond grizzly bear (the most aggressive land animal in the universe). Clodwall was briefly United with his sister (who had just arrived on land before him) and they greeted each other affectionately before parting ways. Clodwall proceeded to kill a lone bull musk oxen which has been abandoned by his herd. A pack of neon blue running hyenas and wolves were waiting nearby but they dare not approach Clodwall. It seems the juvenile male blue ice bear is strong enough to keep even a pride of indigo smilodons populators away. The indigo smilodon populators fought with a wild pride of neon blue Xenosmilus for a reindeer carcass. History repeats itself again. Clodwall’s sister approached him and helped herself to the musk oxen carcass. In fact Clodwall spent the whole summer with his sister. The mating season began again and more male blue ice bears were killed. Clodwall’s sister found herself surrounded by indigo smilodon populators again. Clodwall was now able to chase them off physically. Clodwall and his sister still had not reach sexual maturity yet. Therefore, they decided to raid the entire sea bird collonies. The two juvenile blue ice bears even climbs up the cliffs as they grew to like the taste of bird eggs and chicks and couldn’t get enough of them. Clodwall and his sister headed to the ice pack with the male blue ice bears and the non pregnant females. They hunted together and had fun together for another two years. However, good times like this comes to an end as Clodwall’s sister finally reached sexual maturity. (Female blue ice bears reach sexual maturity between 4 to 5 years old. Male blue ice bears reach sexual maturity at 5.5 to 7 years old and during that time, many males die during mating season as they are killed by the larger, stronger, and older male blue ice bears).



Clodwall who had not yet reached sexual maturity was initially surprise that his sister no longer wanted to play with him. Instead she took an interest in a male neon blue grizzly bear which was bold enough to enter the tundra. The dominant male blue ice bear killed the male blue diamond grizzly bear in a fight to death but not before the latter mated with Clodwall’s sister. As a result, Clodwall’s sister became the first female blue ice bear cubs to be pregnant with neon blue bear hybrid bear cubs. Many male blue diamond grizzly bears were heading north during that time and breeding with the younger female blue ice bears which have recently reached sexual maturity.



Clodwall felt alone for a while. However, he quickly got over it. The blue ice bears typically have a similar motto as the polar bear’s on earth towards their females ‘Love them and leave them’. Their relationships with each other rather differently. During this time, more and more blue diamond grizzly bears were entering the tundra.

Chapter 7: Sexual maturity.



One year later, Clodwall at 5.5 years old finally reached sexual maturity. He now weighs 7 tonnes which is still large for an almost full grown male blue ice bear. Mating season for him had finally arrived and he no longer wanted to play around like a ‘boy’. This is a dangerous time for the male blue ice bears. Despite their laidback demeanour, male blue ice bears become very aggressive during mating season. No male animal has a higher mortality rate than these animals. This could determine if Clodwall gets to sire cubs or die (ending his legacy). During the time, a male blue ice bear gets bad tempered and will attack any animal that gets in the way.



The fight starts. The male blue ice bears duke it out viciously. Clodwall was knock down by an adult male blue ice bear. Knowing he is not strong enough to take on a mature male blue ice bear yet, Clodwall takes it out on a smaller younger male. The smaller male has a more upbeat and aggressive personality than Clodwall but he lacked the size that the larger more contemplative male blue ice bear had. Clodwall managed to kill this young male by outgrappling and him and knocking him down. Some of the younger male blue ice bears (including the young male blue ice bear defeated by Clodwall) tried to avoid fighting and went to mate with the females. The dominant male blue ice bear and the other adults saw this and the dragged these youngsters off the females and broke their necks. These young male blue ice bears were the first to die. Plenty of blue blood was spilled that day.



Clodwall now the youngest male blue ice bear alive knew the best way to survive is to either join the fight (or wait till it’s over before mating). Clodwall killed an older eight tonne male blue ice bear which was slightly heavier than him. The fight was finally over and Clodwall mated with as many female blue ice bears (all a year older than him at least) as he could. Despite the outcome of the fight and still on the bottom end due to inexperience, Clodwall still got to mate because he survived. Clodwall has reached a new level.



Mating season is over and Clodwall is once again ready to go back to the ice pack. Clodwall, however, saw some male blue diamond grizzly bears invading the tundra. These aggressive cousins if the blue ice bears would back down from nothing not even their larger cousins.

Chapter 8: The invasion of the blue diamond grizzly bears.



The male blue diamond grizzlies have been rapidly invading the tundra for years now but for wheat. Sure the male neon blue diamond grizzly bears are the most aggressive land animals on the planet and capable of killing even almost any animal in the tundra. Why would they come to the tundra for when there is plenty of food further down south?



The male blue diamond grizzly bears’ aggression is displayed due to the fact they are the only animals not afraid to knock off bright blue bears (scaled up versions of American black bears) which sometimes sleep on the backs of cyan mastodons (further south) and are certainly capable of frightening and displacing newly independent juvenile blue ice bears from their feeding spots. This time, there were no more juveniles as the adult male blue ice bears have killed them during mating season (for mating with the females before fighting). The dominant male blue ice bears (together with the other fully grown adult male blue ice bears) have killed many male blue diamond grizzly bears in the past. Clodwall himself has already develop the confidence to take down one himself. When the bright blue ocean finally became an ice pack, all the male blue ice bears including Clodwall headed into the frozen sea once again.



The blue diamond grizzlies showed their true motives. They were after the blue ice bear cubs. This is because the female blue ice bears breed earlier than the female blue diamond grizzly bears (just as polar bears on earth breed earlier than the grizzly bears). The blue diamond grizzlies have sniffed out the mating scent of the female blue ice bears and headed to the north. Knowing that the male blue ice bears are gone, the male blue diamond grizzlies began attacking and raiding the dens and killing blue ice bear cubs. Not all cubs were killed as some of the female blue ice bears aggressively fought off the male blue diamond grizzlies but many of them have lost their cubs.



With the lost of their cubs, the female blue ice bears will stop lactating and come back into reproduction mode. In the meantime, many of the older female blue diamond grizzly bears are heading north. This is to mate with the larger and stronger male blue ice bears. The invasion, therefore, started when the female blue diamond grizzlies began mating with the male blue ice bears (mainly the younger ones). Clodwall himself has mates with many female blue diamond grizzly bears when he first became sexually mature. This prompted the male blue diamond grizzlies to head north wards. This is a beginning of a new species of bear. For the next 4.5 years Clodwall mated with only female blue diamond grizzlies.

Chapter 9: Killing his first mammoth.



Clodwall headed back to the tundra. Hours before reaching the shore, a rogue bull indigo mammoth was charging everything in plain sight. It even killed a bluish white brontornis and animals up to the size of the bull indigo wooly rhino was not safe from this rogue beast. Clodwall jump off the ice berg and swam towards the shore. As he came out of the waters, the indigo smilodon populator pride and neon blue Xenosmilus populator pride gave way. The now full grown male blue ice bear killed both the leader of the indigo smilodon pride leader and the neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae pride leader (which were too busy facing off to notice Clodwall coming). The male blue ice bear stopped the rogue indigo bull mammoth in its tracks and took it down with a few swipes to the head after breaking off its neon blue tusks. The male blue ice bear began feeding on the rogue bull mammoth’s now dead body. Soon other male blue ice bears joined Clodwall and fed on the dead indigo mammoth. Clodwall has earn a place of respect among his kin as they allowed him to have the best share.



Clodwall fell asleep for a few hours and enjoyed the luxury of being a male blue ice bear. No animal would dare to disturb a sleeping Clodwall except another male blue ice bear. However, all blue ice bears had their fill. Little did Clodwall realise he is the last male blue ice bear on the planet (the male cubs had been killed by the male neon blue grizzlies). Soon it will be time for Clodwall to take his place as the dominant male blue ice bear and his ‘friends’ will soon become his enemies during mating season.



Clodwall now a full grown adult feared nothing on land. This male blue ice bear killed a pride of indigo smilodon populators and neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae (which were fighting over a musk oxen kill), a bull musk oxen, a rogue bull mammoth, an aggressive bull woolly rhino, a red Amphicyon ingens, a bull long horned bison, bull walruses, and even a male blue diamond grizzly bear before the mating season started again.

Chapter 10: The last male blue ice bear.



Clodwall now weighs 20 tonnes. At tenyears old, he is now the biggest of the male blue ice bears in the north. The only bear that rivals his size and weight is the current dominant male blue ice bear who is now 18 years old. Clodwall knows this will be the bear he needs to take down to become the dominant male. The remaining male blue ice bears were between 7 to 10 tonnes, 8 tonnes is the average weight for a male while an average female is 800 kgs. While a male blue ice bear can be 20 tonnes for an exceptionally large male, an exceptionally small female can be 500kgs (the largest females are no bigger than 2200 pounds).



The fight began. Clodwall and the current dominant male blue ice bear killed some of the smaller male blue ice bears in the area. Clodwall then fought the dominant male blue ice bear and a fierce fight happened. This was the most vicious fight in history. Clodwall was struck by the older male many times. The younger male blue ice bear got up after each blow and despite suffering a thorn flank (dripping with blue blood) as well as an injured forepaw, Clodwall managed to catch the older dominant male on the throat with his jaws and began shaking (while holding his rival with his powerful forearms). Clodwall broke the neck of the older dominant male blue ice bear and became the new dominant male. Clodwall and the other male blue ice bears took a rest while the neon blue sea gulls and giant petrels ate the carcasses of the dead blue ice bears.



Clodwall and the other male blue ice bears mated with the female blue diamond grizzlies as well as the females of their own kind. Many female blue ice bears with cubs went further south. These are the female blue ice bears with hybrid cubs and one of them is Clodwall’s older sister.



Clodwall raided the bird colonies destroying their eggs and young. Clodwall has earned his place as the strongest land animal on the planet and has proven it by taking down the former dominant male. Clodwall did something unusual (before mating), he dragged the carcass of the dead dominant male ice bear in the sparkling blue sea where it was eating by a male neon blue sperm whale in the deeper oceans. The smell of blue blood attracted orcas (which found nothing by the time they arrived).

Chapter 11: A softer side of Clodwall.



On the second year of Clodwall as a dominant male, the huge male blue ice bear attacked and killed an indigo smilodon populator (which had severely injured a female blue ice bear). The dying female blue ice bear seems to have entrusted Clodwall with her two one year old daughters. The male blue ice bear which killed an indigo male smilodon populator is now an adopted father.



Clodwall took the female blue ice bear cubs under his wing for two years. He thought them how to hunt and the appropriate type of prey for them to hunt. After two years, the female blue ice bears left Clodwall to go south and breed with the male neon blue grizzly bears (a year and a half later). When Clodwall returned from the ice pack the year after, he discovered many female neon blue grizzly bears but no female blue ice bears (which have all migrated south). This happened after the male blue diamond grizzlies raided their dens and killed the last of the blue ice bear cubs.



Despite raising cubs and becoming an adopted father, Clodwall never forgot his place as the dominant male. The male blue ice bears killed some male blue grolar bears (adults and independent juveniles) during mating season and their feeding times. Clodwall and the other male blue ice bear also killed many male neon blue grizzly bears during mating season. Since, the male blue ice bears were focused on killing the male blue diamond grizzlies, they did not attack each other.

Chapter 12: The last of the blue ice bears.



Clodwall and the rest of the male blue ice bears headed to the ice pack one last time. Little did they know it will be their last time there. This is because a male neon blue sperm whale has developed a taste for blue ice bears.



Clodwall and the male blue ice bears killed many walrus and sea lions but they also killed plenty of neon blue belugas, narwhales, and even oceanic dolphins. However, the male blue ice bears began disappearing one by one. This is because of the neon blue sperm whale. Clodwall, the last male blue ice bear fell victim to a neon blue sperm whale at 12 years old. While most neon blue sperm whales would inhabit the warmer parts of the ocean, this particular whale has made its home under the ice. Male neon blue sperm whales are able to break through even the hardest ice pack and largest ice bergs.



Although Clodwall and the male blue ice bears have gone extinct, the legacy of the male blue ice bears lived on in their offspring, the neon blue prizzly bears. The male blue ice bears have killed off most of the male blue diamond grizzly bears and many of the male blue grolar bears before heading to the ice pack. Therefore, it is inevitable that the only blue diamond bears left on the mainland west will be blue hybrid bears. At the moment the only blue ice bears left in the wild are females. Some of the male blue ice bears have mated with female Eurasian neon blue bears and killed many of the males. As a result, the neon blue hybrid bears also live in parts of planet Diamond which could have been called Scandinavia back on earth. Male blue ice bears do not die natural deaths. They get killed either from another male blue ice bear or a more powerful and larger animal like the neon blue sperms and orcas. End of Book 1.

A/N: Smilodon populators on earth live only in South America. Indigo smilodon populators live in planet Diamond’s tundra, yellow smilodons live in the northern hemisphere, equator, and Southern Hemisphere, neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae live in the northern hemisphere all the way to the tundra.

She is ensuring that no blue running hyenas, bluish white brontornis, indigo smilodon populator, neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae, indigo wolverine, and most of all male blue ice bears are around. Yet she was prepared for everything and should push come to shove, this female blue ice bears will fight to death for her cubs. The male blue ice bear cub is much larger than his two older sisters. This is because many years ago before the existence of blue ice bears, some exceptionally male blue diamond bears and female blue diamond bears (which were created from the blue diamonds of the north) got trapped in the North Pole during the ice age and continental drift. Over time these blue diamond bears adapted to a more marine and carnivorous bite. They develop a powerful slicing bite that could cut through the toughest hide with ease yet maintained a crushing bite as well. (In fact the male blue ice bears have the strongest jaws in the universe). That is how the blue ice bears came into existence. An adult male blue ice bear is what Clodwall will one day become but for now he will enjoy his life as a cub. Clodwall was wide eyed and curious yet reserved while his two older sisters have a more upbeat personality. Clodwall watched the neon blue sea gulls and puffins and other sea birds fly to the cliffs or land on the ground several hundred metres away to feed their young. He also admired the blue flowers. His sisters in the meantime were playing with each other and running ahead of him. This is the season the North Pole enjoys the blue sunlight.During the spring many animals which migrated down south returned to the tundra. Yet danger also lurks close. While Clodwall’s sisters were playing with each other, the two female blue ice bear cubs accidentally bump into a male red Amphicyon ingens which has killed a bull indigo musk oxen. The female blue ice bear cubs affectionately rubbed against the red amphicyon ingen’s forearms. The irritated Amphicyon ingens growled. Upon realising the red beast is not their mother, the females cubs fled. Clodwall stood bravely between the red Amphicyon and his sisters, ready to risk his life. Clodwall’s life almost ended but thankfully a huge male blue ice bear attack the red Amphicyon ingens and killed it. This is the largest and most dominant male blue ice bear which weighs 20 tonnes (large even by blue ice bear standards). Clodwall and his sisters ran back to their mother.



Late autumn had arrived and Clodwall and his sisters followed their mother to the ice pac. This was Clodwall’s first experience on the ice. Clodwall and his sisters felt at home on the ice and even played together. The ice pac is indeed the true realm of the blue ice bears. He watched and learn to hunt ringed seals and also learned the social hierarchy of the blue ice bears at large food sources.

While blue ice bears are solitary animals, they are not unfriendly and will often greet each other warmly at large food sources. Despite being non territorial, there is still a social hierarchy among the blue ice bears. The largest and most dominant male blue ice bear always eats first. Any juvenile which tries to approach without manners will be beaten up or even killed by the adult males. Clodwall was about to realise that the hard way. He approached a huge indigo bull walrus carcass which belongs to the dominant male blue ice bear which once saved his life. The male blue ice bear not in a mood to share pushed Clodwall away roughly. Clodwall tried again but the dominant male growled at him. Clodwall’s mother jump in the way of the male blue ice bear, ready to fight to her death. The male blue ice bear dragged away the indigo bull walrus carcass. Clodwall’s life was once again saved.

During the late spring, the dominant male blue ice bear killed a bull indigo rogue woolly mammoth. A ten tonne male blue ice bear took down a bull woolly rhino. Apart from the blue ringed seals and indigo bull walruses, these are the prey a male blue ice bear will kill. The male blue ice bears have proven themselves to be the strongest land animal in the universe. This was proven when the dominant male blue ice bear displaced a whole pride of indigo smilodon populators from their musk oxen carcass. However However, no man was able to see that in action due to the powerful gravity pull which no man from earth will survive. Clodwall watched the dominant male blue ice bear and was impressed by his size and strength. Clodwall’s mother nudge him and his sisters as a signal to move on. Clodwall can only rely on his mother for so long.



One year passed quickly. Clodwall now weighs 4400 pounds and is twice as big and heavy as his mother who weighs 2200 pounds (a big female blue ice bear herself). Clodwall’s sisters are almost as big as their mother. The female blue ice bear pays little attention to Clodwall now but she is still protective over his sisters. It is only because of the strong bond between Clodwall and his sisters that he stayed on with his mother (for now). As the blue ice bears were travelling, a pride of indigo smilodon populators surrounded them. While even the smallest male blue ice bear is capable of killing a whole pride of indigo smilodon populators, Clodwall was only a one year old male blue ice bear cub despite the fact he outweighs the largest indigo smilodon populator. One indigo smilodon populator attacked one of the female cubs, sinking its neon blue fangs into her shoulder. Clodwall’s mother attacked the smilodon populator but was attacked by the others. Clodwall attacked the smilodon populator which was attacking one of his sisters. Clodwall charged the smilodon populators which were surrounding his mother. Clodwall, however, discovered to his horror that one of his sisters had been killed with a skull bite. As there were too many smilodons for a one year old male cub to take on, Clodwall had to leave with his mother and sister. Clodwall’s mother did not pay attention to him but check on his remaining sister to see if she was alright. It looks like Clodwall’s time to leave his mother is sooner than expected. Mating season finally came and Clodwall’s mother mated with a young but sexually mature grown male blue ice bear weighing eight tonnes. Clodwall’s mother (now 12 years old) even enjoyed a honey moon with the dominant male (now ten years old and has already a biological father to many of the blue ice bear cubs) who is younger than her but fully mature. The fights between the males was very vicious and many of the younger males were killed. This is the survival of the fittest. Regardless of winning or losing a fight, all male blue ice bears get to mate as there are seven females to one male due to the heavy death toll on the male blue ice bears during mating season. In other words the only male blue ice bears which do not get to mate are these which are killed or have not reached sexual maturity. Clodwall did not participate as he was not yet sexually mature. Autumn came again and Clodwall gave his sister an affectionate goodbye before departing. Clodwall’s sister also left their mother and both bears went their seperate ways. By then, Clodwall’s mother did not even pay attention to his sister and did not care that she had left. The ice pack finally froze and Clodwall followed the rest of the male blue ice bears on the ice pack to hunt. This is a totally new adventure for Clodwall. Clodwall’s sister ventured off on her own as well.

Clodwall enjoyed his adventure on the ice pack. It was initially hard to find his way around the bright blue icy desert. Clodwall even had to battle the strong winds, however, he moved forward like a warrior braving the hurdles in his life. Knowing he will one day be the strongest land animal in the universe, Clodwall did not give up despite being unable to find nothing for days. On day five, Clodwall saw tracks and huge paw prints of an adult male blue ice bear. Clodwall followed the tracks and paw prints only to discover an adult male blue ice bear dragging out a large neon blue male beluga from its breathing hole. Although not strong enough to usurp the adult of his kill, Clodwall approach with manners. The adult male blue ice bear relented and allowed Clodwall to eat the left overs and departed. Moments later, Clodwall spotted the dominant male blue ice bear eating an indigo bull walrus he had killed. The dominant male also noticed Clodwall but did not bother him. In fact, both blue ice bears minded their own business.



Clodwall has finally eaten his fill, however, he still needed to learn to hunt if he was to survive till late spring. Clodwall left his food to the neon blue foxes and tried to catch a blue ringed seal at the seal breathing hole nearby. Clodwall instead caught a huge indigo sea lion. Despite his inexperienced, Clodwall was a quick learner and killed the indigo sea lion fairly quickly. The dominant male blue ice bear had left the scene. The neon blue foxes waited for Clodwall to eat his full before helping themselves to the sea lion carcass (this is only after the blue ice bear cub had fallen asleep). Clodwall is now confident of his survival. The male blue ice bear cub travels up to 80 kilometres a day to search for prey from the size to ringed seals all the way up to indigo sea lions.



Late spring finally came and Clodwall had to leave the melting ice pack and head back to the tundra. As the ice pack began to melt, Clodwall spotted a 4000 tonne neon blue sperm whale break out of the ice and even smash an ice berg with his tail. The 4000 tonne male neon blue sperm whale and the 100 tonne male neon blue orcas were fighting among themselves. The male neon blue sperm whale won and send the neon blue orca swimming away. The Nordic sparkling blue ocean was also filled by neon blue common bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, belugas, narwhales, etc. Bright blue jellyfish which were twice the size of earth’s blue whales were also present.



Clodwall made it back to the tundra after weeks of swimming and riding on ice bergs. A male neon blue sperm whale actually broke one of the huge icebergs which Clodwall was resting on.



Clodwall finally made it back on the tundra. He has more than doubled his weight during the winter and is now as big as the largest male blue diamond grizzly bear (the most aggressive land animal in the universe). Clodwall was briefly United with his sister (who had just made it to land before him) and they greeted each other affectionately before parting ways. Clodwall proceeded to kill a lone bull musk oxen which has been abandoned by his herd. A pack of neon blue running hyenas and wolves were waiting nearby but they dare not approach Clodwall. It seems the juvenile male blue ice bear is strong enough to keep even a pride of indigo smilodons populators away. The indigo smilodon populators fought with a wild pride of neon blue Xenosmilus for a reindeer carcass. History repeats itself again. Clodwall’s sister approached him and helped herself to the musk oxen carcass. In fact Clodwall spent the whole summer with his sister. The mating season began again and more male blue ice bears were killed. Clodwall’s sister found herself surrounded by indigo smilodon populators again. Clodwall was now able to chase them off physically. Clodwall and his sister still had not reach sexual maturity yet. Therefore, they decided to raid the entire sea bird collonies. The two juvenile blue ice bears even climbs up the cliffs as they grew to like the taste of bird eggs and chicks and couldn’t get enough of them. Clodwall and his sister headed to the ice pack with the male blue ice bears and the non pregnant females. They hunted together and had fun together for another two years. However, good times like this comes to an end as Clodwall’s sister finally reached sexual maturity. (Female blue ice bears reach sexual maturity between 4 to 5 years old. Male blue ice bears reach sexual maturity at 5.5 to 7 years old and during that time, many males die during mating season as they are killed by the larger, stronger, and older male blue ice bears).



Clodwall who had not yet reached sexual maturity was initially surprise that his sister no longer wanted to play with him. Instead she took an interest in a male neon blue grizzly bear which was bold enough to enter the tundra. The dominant male blue ice bear killed the male blue diamond grizzly bear in a fight to death but not before the latter mated with Clodwall’s sister. As a result, Clodwall’s sister became the first female blue ice bear cubs to be pregnant with neon blue bear hybrid bear cubs. Many male blue diamond grizzly bears were heading north during that time and breeding with the younger female blue ice bears which have recently reached sexual maturity.



Clodwall felt alone for a while. However, he quickly got over it. The blue ice bears typically have a similar motto as the polar bear’s on earth towards their females ‘Love them and leave them’. Their relationships with each other rather differently. During this time, more and more blue diamond grizzly bears were entering the tundra.



One year later, Clodwall at 5.5 years old finally reached sexual maturity. He now weighs 7 tonnes which is still large for an almost full grown male blue ice bear. Mating season for him had finally arrived and he no longer wanted to play around like a ‘boy’. This is a dangerous time for the male blue ice bears. Despite their laidback demeanour, male blue ice bears become very aggressive during mating season. No male animal has a higher mortality rate than these animals. This could determine if Clodwall gets to sire cubs or die (ending his legacy). During the time, a male blue ice bear gets bad tempered and will attack any animal that gets in the way.



The fight starts. The male blue ice bears duke it out viciously. Clodwall was knock down by an adult male blue ice bear. Knowing he is not strong enough to take on a mature male blue ice bear yet, Clodwall takes it out on a smaller younger male. The smaller male has a more upbeat and aggressive personality than Clodwall but he lacked the size that the larger more contemplative male blue ice bear had. Clodwall managed to kill this young male by outgrappling and him and knocking him down. Some of the younger male blue ice bears (including the young male blue ice bear defeated by Clodwall) tried to avoid fighting and went to mate with the females. The dominant male blue ice bear and the other adults saw this and the dragged these youngsters off the females and broke their necks. These young male blue ice bears were the first to die. Plenty of blue blood was spilled that day.



Clodwall now the youngest male blue ice bear alive knew the best way to survive is to either join the fight (or wait till it’s over before mating). Clodwall killed an older eight tonne male blue ice bear which was slightly heavier than him. The fight was finally over and Clodwall mated with as many female blue ice bears (all a year older than him at least) as he could. Despite the outcome of the fight and still on the bottom end due to inexperience, Clodwall still got to mate because he survived. Clodwall has reached a new level.



Mating season is over and Clodwall is once again ready to go back to the ice pack. Clodwall, however, saw some male blue diamond grizzly bears invading the tundra. These aggressive cousins if the blue ice bears would back down from nothing not even their larger cousins.



The male blue diamond grizzlies have been rapidly invading the tundra for years now but for wheat. Sure the male neon blue diamond grizzly bears are the most aggressive land animals on the planet and capable of killing even almost any animal in the tundra. Why would they come to the tundra for when there is plenty of food further down south?



The male blue diamond grizzly bears’ aggression is displayed due to the fact they are the only animals not afraid to knock off bright blue bears (scaled up versions of American black bears) which sometimes sleep on the backs of cyan mastodons (further south) and are certainly capable of frightening and displacing newly independent juvenile blue ice bears from their feeding spots. This time, there were no more juveniles as the adult male blue ice bears have killed them during mating season (for mating with the females before fighting). The dominant male blue ice bears (together with the other fully grown adult male blue ice bears) have killed many male blue diamond grizzly bears in the past. Clodwall himself has already develop the confidence to take down one himself. When the bright blue ocean finally became an ice pack, all the male blue ice bears including Clodwall headed into the frozen sea once again.



The blue diamond grizzlies showed their true motives. They were after the blue ice bear cubs. This is because the female blue ice bears breed earlier than the female blue diamond grizzly bears (just as polar bears on earth breed earlier than the grizzly bears). The blue diamond grizzlies have sniffed out the mating scent of the female blue ice bears and headed to the north. Knowing that the male blue ice bears are gone, the male blue diamond grizzlies began attacking and raiding the dens and killing blue ice bear cubs. Not all cubs were killed as some of the female blue ice bears aggressively fought off the male blue diamond grizzlies but many of them have lost their cubs.



With the lost of their cubs, the female blue ice bears will stop lactating and come back into reproduction mode. In the meantime, many of the older female blue diamond grizzly bears are heading north. This is to mate with the larger and stronger male blue ice bears. The invasion, therefore, started when the female blue diamond grizzlies began mating with the male blue ice bears (mainly the younger ones). Clodwall himself has mates with many female blue diamond grizzly bears when he first became sexually mature. This prompted the male blue diamond grizzlies to head north wards. This is a beginning of a new species of bear. For the next 4.5 years Clodwall mated with only female blue diamond grizzlies.



Clodwall headed back to the tundra. Hours before reaching the shore, a rogue bull indigo mammoth was charging everything in plain sight. It even killed a bluish white brontornis and animals up to the size of the bull indigo wooly rhino was not safe from this rogue beast. Clodwall jump off the ice berg and swam towards the shore. As he came out of the waters, the indigo smilodon populator pride and neon blue Xenosmilus populator pride gave way. The now full grown male blue ice bear killed both the leader of the indigo smilodon pride leader and the neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae pride leader (which were too busy facing off to notice Clodwall coming). The male blue ice bear stopped the rogue indigo bull mammoth in its tracks and took it down with a few swipes to the head after breaking off its neon blue tusks. The male blue ice bear began feeding on the rogue bull mammoth’s now dead body. Soon other male blue ice bears joined Clodwall and fed on the dead indigo mammoth. Clodwall has earn a place of respect among his kin as they allowed him to have the best share.



Clodwall fell asleep for a few hours and enjoyed the luxury of being a male blue ice bear. No animal would dare to disturb a sleeping Clodwall except another male blue ice bear. However, all blue ice bears had their fill. Little did Clodwall realise he is the last male blue ice bear on the planet (the male cubs had been killed by the male neon blue grizzlies). Soon it will be time for Clodwall to take his place as the dominant male blue ice bear and his ‘friends’ will soon become his enemies during mating season.



Clodwall now a full grown adult feared nothing on land. This male blue ice bear killed a pride of indigo smilodon populators and neon blue Xenosmilus hodsonae (which were fighting over a musk oxen kill), a bull musk oxen, a rogue bull mammoth, an aggressive bull woolly rhino, a red Amphicyon ingens, a bull long horned bison, bull walruses, and even a male blue diamond grizzly bear before the mating season started again.



Clodwall now weighs 20 tonnes. He is now the biggest of the male blue ice bears in the north. The only bear that rivals his size and weight is the current dominant male blue ice bear who is now 18 years old. Clodwall knows this will be the bear he needs to take down to become the dominant male. The remaining male blue ice bears were between 7 to 10 tonnes, 8 tonnes is the average weight for a male while an average female is 800 kgs. While a male blue ice bear can be 20 tonnes for an exceptionally large male, an exceptionally small female can be 500kgs (the largest females are no bigger than 2200 pounds).



The fight began. Clodwall and the current dominant male blue ice bear killed some of the smaller male blue ice bears in the area. Clodwall then fought the dominant male blue ice bear and a fierce fight happened. This was the most vicious fight in history. Clodwall was struck by the older male many times. The younger male blue ice bear got up after each blow and despite suffering a thorn flank (dripping with blue blood) as well as an injured forepaw, Clodwall managed to catch the older dominant male on the throat with his jaws and began shaking (while holding his rival with his powerful forearms). Clodwall broke the neck of the older dominant male blue ice bear and became the new dominant male. Clodwall and the other male blue ice bears took a rest while the neon blue sea gulls and giant petrels ate the carcasses of the dead blue ice bears.



Clodwall and the other male blue ice bears mated with the female blue diamond grizzlies as well as the females of their own kind. Many female blue ice bears with cubs went further south. These are the female blue ice bears with hybrid cubs and one of them is Clodwall’s older sister.



Clodwall raided the bird colonies destroying their eggs and young. Clodwall has earned his place as the strongest land animal on the planet and has proven it by taking down the former dominant male. Clodwall did something unusual (before mating), he dragged the carcass of the dead dominant male ice bear in the sparkling blue sea where it was eating by a male neon blue sperm whale in the deeper oceans. The smell of blue blood attracted orcas (which found nothing by the time they arrived).



On the second year of Clodwall as a dominant male, the huge male blue ice bear attacked and killed an indigo smilodon populator (which had severely injured a female blue ice bear). The dying female blue ice bear seems to have entrusted Clodwall with her two one year old daughters. The male blue ice bear which killed an indigo male smilodon populator is now an adopted father.



Clodwall took the female blue ice bear cubs under his wing for two years. He thought them how to hunt and the appropriate type of prey for them to hunt. After two years, the female blue ice bears left Clodwall to go south and breed with the male neon blue grizzly bears (a year and a half later). When Clodwall returned from the ice pack the year after, he discovered many female neon blue grizzly bears but no female blue ice bears (which have all migrated south). This happened after the male blue diamond grizzlies raided their dens and killed the last of the blue ice bear cubs.



Despite raising cubs and becoming an adopted father, Clodwall never forgot his place as the dominant male. The male blue ice bears killed some male blue grolar bears (adults and independent juveniles) during mating season and their feeding times. Clodwall and the other male blue ice bear also killed many male neon blue grizzly bears during mating season. Since, the male blue ice bears were focused on killing the male blue diamond grizzlies, they did not attack each other.



Clodwall and the rest of the male blue ice bears headed to the ice pack one last time. Little did they know it will be their last time there. This is because a male neon blue sperm whale has developed a taste for blue ice bears.



Clodwall and the male blue ice bears killed many walrus and sea lions but they also killed plenty of neon blue belugas, narwhales, and even oceanic dolphins. However, the male blue ice bears began disappearing one by one. This is because of the neon blue sperm whale. Clodwall, the last male blue ice bear fell victim to a neon blue sperm whale at 12 years old. While most neon blue sperm whales would inhabit the warmer parts of the ocean, this particular whale has made its home under the ice. Male neon blue sperm whales are able to break through even the hardest ice pack and largest ice bergs.



Although Clodwall and the male blue ice bears have gone extinct, the legacy of the male blue ice bears lived on in their offspring, the neon blue prizzly bears. The male blue ice bears have killed off most of the male blue diamond grizzly bears and many of the male blue grolar bears before heading to the ice pack. Therefore, it is inevitable that the only blue diamond bears left on the mainland west will be blue hybrid bears. At the moment the only blue ice bears left in the wild are females. Some of the male blue ice bears have mated with female Eurasian neon blue bears and killed many of the males. As a result, the neon blue hybrid bears also live in parts of planet Diamond which could have been called Scandinavia back on earth. Male blue ice bears do not die natural deaths. They get killed either from another male blue ice bear or a more powerful and larger animal like the neon blue sperms and orcas. In an alternate ending, Clodwall, the last male blue ice bear developed the ability to absorbed the last blue star into himself destroying the whole solar system and himself. End.
